This is a great addition to Whole Foods and the Cambie area in general. It’s stylish and open, with lots of good café food selection… Not to mention wine and beer happy hour. A good place to meet a friend for a bite and/or drink. Some things to be aware of, it can get a little noisy and the coffee quality varies, regardless it’s still a go-to of mine.

I was skeptical of coming here because I’m not a huge fan of Whole Foods, but I was killing time one afternoon and decided to try the coffee. The staff didn’t seem to know how to answer many of my questions regarding their coffee but that’s alright I guess. I tried the cold brew and it was more bitter than a cold brew should be, but still above average. The next times I came I tried the hot coffee and it’s much better than the cold brew. What gives this place a 4 star over a three star is that the(presumed) manager is a total rockstar! She was very friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable and let me try one of the beef sticks when I had asked about them. They sell at almost $ 4 a piece, so this gesture was really generous. She also ran down to the produce and brought my baby back a banana because«babies always get free bananas». Customer service is more important to me than having the absolute best of everything, so I’ve gone back several times since this day just because of that interaction. They’re doing it right! All of the food looks delicious and fresh, though I haven’t tried any. I’ve been good about not eating so much junk but it does make it hard!

My go to place for quick lunches. Clean and organize. Staff are friendly and so full of energy. It seems they enjoy their job. I love the chicken pot pie. I think they put a quarter of chicken breast in every pie! Its so filling! If you want a quick bite to eat and dome really good coffee this is the place to be.

Atmosphere 5⁄5 Service 5⁄5 Selection for a coffee shop 5⁄5 Cool joint on the Cambie & Broadway area. They have macrons, muffins(espresso choco chip, $ 3) a fancy espresso machine and lots of space to enjoy your bites and liquids. They even have a cool wine fridge for bottles waiting to be poured. They beat the SBux on that one:)

Service hit or miss, but location = awesome! This café is in Whole Foods, and while it’s too bad the floral department is no longer here, the space does way better as a coffee shop. I sat across from the bathroom against the store side, so between getting work done I spaced out watching patrons below picking fruit and veggies. Can’t not love the Whole Foods produce section. I think it was $ 6 for a tea and pastry. Free Wi-Fi. They serve alcohol.

The ambiance of Allegro Café is pleasant. But the coffee + service just doesn’t cut it.

Flawless customers service. Custom(turquoise) MARZOCCO coffee machine. Beautiful setting on the mezzanine. Clean bathroom, even 30 minutes before closing time. Awesome opening hour 6am-10pm EVERY day. Nice touch of wood and turquoise which I like. WHAMMY! Organic coffee bean. Not my cup of the… Their cappuccino. They got a decent, good I should say cap. But i prefer when the foam is not all white… Ya know I prefer when the foam it’s brown-white and creamy. But still the coffee wake me up right away! I am enjoying their cappuccino. No doubt about-it… They are just not my fav location for Cappuccino in town.

OMG how have I missed this place all these years in the area? I was on the way to Michael’s Craft Store and spotted this place. Normally if I need a fix I go to the Starbucks a block down or a block the other way to Blenz, however, noticed this place for the first time in my life. I am not surprised that there was a long line up going out the door ’cause it was amazing for different reasons. To be honest I noticed this ’cause there was a sandwich board placed outside. 1. The pastries are better and they carry more GF options. 2. For $ 4 you can buy Oatmeal in a mason jar and keep the jar. I love jars! 3. They have stevia as a sweetener and agave syrup. 4. No extra charge for almond milk. 5. They carry just plain flavorless thick yogurt for a sugar free calcium boost(I know that yogurt has natural sugars in diary, however, no added sugars). 6. Tons of space inside to do crafts, read etc. 7. Open at 6:00 am(not that I’ve ever needed it that early). I just bought a chai latte. This is located inside Whole Foods, however, this is a separate business that rents out space here but has contracted Whole Foods for their baked goods. Similar concept to the Starbucks/Chapters situation. The customer service was stone walled. No smiles, no good mornings.

I came here for a meeting and enjoyed a delicious juice! The space is clean, classy, and has that lovely West Coast vibe with lots of natural wood features, including reclaimed wood stools and a beautiful long central table. The chairs are my favourite shade of blue, which was an instant hit for me! I like that they have long hours and carry lots of local beers and wines — plus they have a happy hour! What better than doing your shopping and having a beer? Ok, maybe having a beer THEN shopping is a better idea! You can overlook the store as you sip or nibble and plan your shopping route. This is a calm, fun space(very in keeping with Whole Foods local theme), and undeniably West Coast in design!

Either there’s another one but this recently opened a few months ago where the florist department used to be inside Whole Foods. No wonder, this will generate more sales, and more quieter than the food side down there. Overlooks the whole store, with ‘balcony seating’, above the produce section. Also sell pastries and overpriced chocolate chip cookies, which were alright.

Cozy small espresso bar serving the standard cakes & goodies with your Misto Americano. Located at the entrance of Whole Foods. but not a spot to stop as the seats are always taken(so few of them). Their beans don’t meet the upper line of taste to be expected here in Vancouver. This café chain mostly in the USA is full organic and fair trade.
