I’m getting back into collecting and playing old NES and SNES games, so I thought I’d shop around at local stores to see what the prices were. This place had the best selection at the worst prices. $ 50 for Mega Man 3? $ 80 for Super Metroid? Ouch! No wonder they have so much selection, once a game enters the store, it never leaves! I really don’t know how this store stays open. I wonder if they sell 1 game per day if it pays the rent + expenses. Old man in there didn’t seem to care if I bought anything and seemed to look happy while I was leaving. I’m so sad to see that old games go to die here. They should have a better fate than this.

I was very disappointed with A-Z games. Not one iteam had a price tag on it, the ower wanted to haggle for every game and I just dont shop that way. If you really need a game and dont want to buy it on ebay, I guess you could buy it at A-Z(it will cost you)

This place is overpriced. Sorry, but I am not going to pay $ 45 for a used Dynasty Warriors 4, and certainly not pay $ 120 for a used final fantasy anthology, when I could get it for half the price elsewhere. For a place called a-z games you would think the organization of the games might be in alphabetical order. Think again… They have a great selection of old and new games, but they are placed seemingly random, making it a tedious process to see if they have a game you want.

Your choice is simple: you can look all over the interwebs, trawl craigslist, check all the shops; or you can go to A-Z and get the game you want in half an hour. A_Z is the MacLeod’s of videogames, Except video games don’t stack vertically very well. Prices are reasonable, given the convenience. Remember, «Portal» was actually better than any of the movies they put out in 2009! What do you pay to see a movie these days?
