Among the fast food chains, I personally feel that A&W has the best burgers at the moment. Organically raised beef and fresh, crisp veggies make for amazing hamburgers. My favorite is the Teen burger which is simply incredible. Keep an eye out for coupons to sweeten the deal. Or check out:

Came by to try their Sriracha burger. It’s actually not bad. The shredded red peppers are a nice touch, and the burger didn’t taste solid hot sauce. Just a nice light kick on top of one of their regular juicy burgers. Delicious. Looks like they raised their onion rings to $ 4 now. Yikes.

Mama burger combo 4.99. I like the flavour of Mc D’…ooops. I meant to say A&W. :) I love the flavour of A&W burgers. why? Mustard. plain and simple. And did you know that for awhile there was no A&W in the lowermainland? I was lost! OK. so it’s not good to eat meat these days, cooked food is not good, but sometimes I have to have a burger. Now that I know A&W has a veggie burger, I can order one up. Whole wheat bun, veggies on top of a meatless pattie. Honestly, it is decent for a fast food chain. And when McD’s dropped their veggie burger because all the patrons who like to eat there are grossly overweight. You can have something less damaging to your arteries here. Just make sure you let them know that you don’t want any added salt to the burger. Some places will put salt on it. And speaking of that other brand, I noticed now, that they take a salt shaker to their patties. ew!

So… I don’t usually condone this type of eating but I feel I should confess one of my dirty little secrets. On occasion when I am looking for a quickfix, this is where I turn too… or rather run to… A&W. They have the best breakfast combo 2 eggs any way, two pieces of toast, two strips bacon, hash brown, and a medium coffee for only 7 bucks! The portion size is enough for even this cochon(for all you none french speaking people out there that means pig) to feel satisfied. One other tip… ask for no oil because the eggs can be a bit greasy and the toast can be over buttered, so I usually say«sans oil please.» … yum! I mean SHHHHHH. we can never speak of this again.
