This place is painful to deal with. I placed 2 separate orders to reproduce 4×6 family pictures and it was like I had asked them to solve a complex algebra problem. I’m going to buy a costco membership so i can have pics developed easily without the aggravation.

Great place for developing film and prints! I’ve developed many 35 mm rolls here, both colour and black and white. Staff very friendly and patient.

This is my go-​to place to get my film developed at. They offer a 1hr photo service which is really great. I usually drop my film off, wonder around Queen West for a bit and then go and grab my little gems.
They even have promotions sometimes where they give you a free roll of film with your pickup or other great offers. It’s not overly expensive (Around 15 for prints and CD) but then again developing film isn’t as cheap as it used to be sadly :(.
I highly recommend you give this place a try! Now say Cheese!

Offers film processing in one hour in most cases, with reasonable prices. For consistently professional service, excellent photo quality, and great record selection, West Camera is my go-​to.

Recently I used their uploader and sent some pictures for development.
It was easier than I expected.
I called to check and make sure they received my order. They told me they had and that they would be ready the next day.
They were friendly both on the phone and in person.
Prices were a bit high, but there was no hassle, the quality was great, and I felt like I supported a neighbourhood business.

Came here for a visa photo, I needed it to be on a USB key at the end the guy (laziest one in the world) told me that the picture he uploaded in the key was not cropped, I had to do it cause «the Saturday guy» doesn’t have time for it ??? 2 ppl in the shop looking at the vinyl collection and u don’t have time for that Lazy … com’on !!! Paid 16 $ to get a picture that I have could take at home and cropped it on photoshop … The guy with the hat maybe you should read the definition of working in a camera store :@
(Btw even my 10 years old cousin could have take a better focused pic than u did)

The short story: this place is dodgy and unreliable with indifferent customer service — go elsewhere.
The longer story: I used the online uploading system to print some wedding photos over Christmas. The only way I can describe that upload process is «excruciating». «Straight out of 1998» might also work.
When I went to pick them up, the 5X7 print was missing, which was disappointing as it was part of a present.
I shrugged it off — mistakes happen.
A month later, I needed to print off a few more pictures, so thought I’d try again with that 5X7.
Went through the uploading process and then got an email saying that the system was down, could I email them the files?
This was an inconvenience, but I did it. I even asked, do you need any clarification on the sizes?
When I went to pick up the prints, there was no 5X7.
I communicated my disappointment.
There was no apology, and some suggestion that it was my fault.
I guess there’s only so much you can expect from a place that doubles as a shoe store one day, a record store the next.
If you’re looking for a professional experience and/​or interaction with people who care about helping you out, go somewhere else.

They were really nice and very efficient when I stepped in to get my passport pictures taken. I would definitely go back to get my digital pictures developed.

If you’re walking too quickly on Queen you can miss West Camera as the service counter is buried in the back of a discount shoestore. I rolled in because the Lomography store is now closed. I only needed basic film development done — 35 mm film, one roll B&W, one roll colour. It cost me $ 23.73 to get the film developed.
Colour film: No problems, decently done. No complaints.
B&W film: I was told that they’d need to take a longer time to get my prints back to me as they didn’t do as much B&W (which is fine, maybe it’s not as popular even though it’s a simpler and quicker process). I was pretty disappointed with my prints. The negatives were stained/​spotty — obviously not rinsed/​stopped properly. This meant that there were water stains on the negatives that (surprise surprise!) appeared on my final prints.
Meh, I’m not a fan, and I won’t come back unless I absolutely have to. Will be taking my business a little further down the road to Toronto Image Works.
