Business Owner
Hello! I’m an independent Toronto dog walker with over 5 years professional experience in pet care. I’ve been involved with the Toronto Humane Society for many years in many different capacities: as a high school co-op student, foster care volunteer, animal intake/adoptions administrator, as the adoptive owner of an elderly cat and dog and as a volunteer dog walker for 3 years. I previously worked for established Toronto dog walking company Barks’n’Purrs and gained a great deal of professional dog walking experience before starting my own business. Being a dog walker is a lifestyle that comes naturally to me and I love it! I’m a highly-positive, high-energy person and I have lots of fun with my work. I’m constantly learning more about dog behaviour, attending seminars and courses and I’m studying to become a dog trainer and behaviour consultant. My fabulous and highly qualified assistant Billie runs Walk With Meg with me, she also walks dogs and helps with puppy visits and cat visits.
