PSPSUP Specialists is by far the best place to shop for boards or improve on your technic. I have purchased over 3 boards from them and it has always been a breeze: they take you on the water, advise you on which board you should use depending on what type of paddling you want to develop. I started as a REC paddler and quickly grew the passion thanks to Derek, whose expertise and knowledge is incredible. He spent time with me reviewing basics and guiding towards RACING. On the OFF season(winter) I signed up for their indoor training on SUP Ergometers and wow what a difference. Derek spends the time to carefully correct your moves, creating a much more efficient paddle technic. I would recommend this place to ANYONE who is interested to grow or even discover paddleboarding: PSP has the equipment and the expertise you want to become successful!

If I could give this place a worse review than 1STAR trust me I would. I had bought a Groupon for this place for a hour lesson for Stand Up Paddle(SUP) Board. The Groupon special could be bought for up to 3 people so this is the option I chose as my friends wanted to try this. Well, that’s about as far as I got with this place. The instructions were to email the business for reservations, which I did. I got back a reply with a schedule of dates that were available(they have 3 locations — Toronto, Mississauga and Oakville). I was also advised that I would need to pay the taxes before they could enter my reservation. I emailed back with a copy of the Groupon fine print which clearly indicated that tax was already included in the price I paid so I didn’t need to pay it again via their site. Never heard back from them for a few days. In the meantime I confirmed with my friends a date that worked and emailed them again to indicate what date we wanted and the voucher number. When they finally decided to email me back they indicated that date/time was gone and perhaps I should contact Groupon for a refund. WTH? The Groupon doesn’t expire until August 13th and the date we had chosen was July 19th… so why not offer alternative dates? Well let me tell you why… they obviously had no clue what they were entering into with Groupon and didn’t realize the tax was already included(or that I read the fine print and caught it, maybe others didn’t) so the deal they made was waaaay too good and they would lose money out on in, so don’t bother booking any reservations and hopefully Groupon won’t refund your money. Well luckily Groupon’s customer service is fabulous! It is light years ahead of this business’s shitty SHITTY customer service. I got my refund and will make it my life’s mission to deter anyone from going to this place.
