As a fruit market, K&K to its left is definitely more vibrant, with a higher turnover of customers and much more enthusiastic staff. And I always preferred going to K&K maybe because of this.
Odd, since the two fruit markets pretty much sell the same products. Sweet bananas! Sweet papaya! Sweet everything!
However, not until recently did I discover Trung Tam has a bubble tea/​smoothie bar in the back of its shop. SLAM ON THE BRAKES, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: a bubble tea/​smoothie bar in a place that sells sweet, tropical fruit? Gasp! Why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?
Old habits die hard, but this place makes it incredibly easy for me to switch. Smart thinkin’, Trung Tam.
