Toronto Public Library – Scarborough Civic Centre Branch

Everything is super nice here, good environment and location, nicely built with glass walls all around, and an awesome 3D printer that’s very affordable to use! They also offer a variety of computer/​3d printing courses for adults and children.
The reason I give a 3 star rating is because I expect a library to be a good working environment, and relatively more quiet than working elsewhere, but that is not the case here! Parents frequently bring their young kids, I haven’t been to this library a single time without seeing kids running all around and yelling across the whole library. Of course I understand that kids should come to the library to read or learn, but having 4 – 5 of them running around everywhere without being stopped is a bit too much.
Hope it’ll be better in the future!

This library is amazing! Super spacious, everything is brand new…
AND THEY HAVE A 3D PRINTER !!! You can take a course and book time to use it!
They also have a reading garden if you want to enjoy the nice weather with a book.
One of the employees, Jasmine, is super helpful.
Having fun isn’t hard, when you’ve got a library card
