I recently completed my second larger sized order with THC. This is a fantastic company to do business with online. I admit that the electronic money transfer for payment is a bit weird but the customer service is top notch. I have ordered from many of the reputable online head shops and so far I have received the best service from THC, hats off to Amanda. Even though a couple orders had hiccups with items no longer available, the issues was quickly sorted out with me being the benefited one. Sure there are companies that do free shipping, but if you compare prices they are marketing up their products.
Thumbs up to THC! I’ll be back for sure.

A very bad experience. The salesclerk simply didn’t know what he was talking about, I believed him, and now it’s going to cost me an extra $ 100 to get what I wanted in the first place. He seemed quite stoned when he was talking to me.
I waited at the cashier’s counter while three other people were served ahead of me. I didn’t say anything because I wanted to see if the staff would acknowledge that I was there. Someone finally noticed me, and I got served.
If you are looking for a good range of items, and quality of service isn’t really an issue, it’s not a bad place. If you want useful information, clear explanations, and customer satisfaction, go somewhere else.
I’ll go back if they have something I need and can’t get anywhere else. Otherwise, forget it.

Drove from mid town to get a bong. Called before spoke to «Mike» who seemed nice. Park and walk in. Some people are nice but there is no «mike». Not only is there no Mike but the people there refused to help and try and charge $ 700 for a tiny owl shaped bong. Boo. I’m a native torontonian and this place is a pure joke.

They would sell this awesome fake marihuana herbal stuff that would kill the lungs. I don’t know why.

3.5 stars. This place is close to where I work so it’s really handy for me to pop in. As others have said, they have a great selection. For what I’ve bought, which is mostly smaller stuff, the prices are about average. I find the staff to be very helpful and nice. They also have a nice selection of hemp based shampoos and soap.

We come here pretty frequently because of THC’s proximity to our house. It’s like a mall for weed smokers — largest head shop I have ever been to in Canada! They’ve got clothing, incense, seeds, soil, bongs, pipes, papers, scales, cigarette cases, grinders, list goes on. Also, check out the custom-​made bongs! They’re out of my price range (a few grand) but I always love to see what the artist comes up with. He’s like the Rodin of bongs!
I don’t mind the sales people, but I don’t appreciate it when they’re super stoned. I had to ask one of the dudes the same question like 3 times and he just stared at the cabinet zoned out until he looked up after an awkward amount of time to ask, «huh, you say something?» Like any job, it’s best to not be stoned while working unless you need it to function/​have a medical condition relieved by marijuana.

Best selection in the city but some of the most apathetic and standoffish salespeople ever. This guy in a metal shirt made me feel like an idiot and when I got away from him, the girls who were also working just stared at me until I asked for help. I left feeling like I wanted to cry.

So helpful to a newb!
I have acquired a long term illness that necessitates me needing certain gear to help myself out, and Toronto Hemp Company totally set me up. My friends and I went and I asked a ton of questions, and the sweet salesgirl was fine with me and my overflowing queries.
I feel like I can come back anytime even though I guess I’m not what one might call a «usual» customer, either. I got everything I needed though, I got to find out about a lot of other products and items just from asking (and not getting shooed out, even though I was asking a lot of stuff). =)
Their website is full of useful info, the people there are cool and friendly as far as I have seen so far. So definitely on my Favourites list.

GREAT place to go to for all your smoking and/​or growing needs. 3 stories, they have everything you could ever need, and have been quite helpful in guiding me to buy things they did not sell (butane lighter).
Prices range based on quality, and they have everything from the inexpensive $ 5 – 10 pipes to the expensive RooR waterpipes. The staff is also quite knowledgeable and always ready and willing to help.
Recommend these guys for all your needs.

Went here for the first time recently. It is bright, clean and well stocked. I would say if you want it then you will prob find it here and you will pay for it. I bought a grinder and when i got it home found I had paid double what I could have paid getting it from the manufacturer’s website. But this is Canada and we always get shafted into paying more for stuff. Need an elevator, I hate the stairs.

One of the more decent popular Toronto head shops. Prices are standard, selection is good.
Customer service is hit-​or-​miss though. I find a lot of the employee’s here are quite condescending when talking to me about weed/​paraphernalia. Don’t judge a book by its cover…
If you’re a pothead or you’ve got a pothead friend, you’re surely to find a gift here they would like. Nifty little stash cans/​tins, funny magnets/​pins, 100 different types of rolling papers, hemp clothing, etc. I was just in recently picking up glass screens ($ 2 each, $ 5 for 3) and noticed they were selling I-Path’s?

Believe it or not I brought my mom here yesterday with me to pick up a Hookah because on the website it said they carried them. I also knew they had wicked incense I love and a few other things.
Immediately we were greated by a friendly guy at the cash. I headed up the stairs to find my hookah!
Another friendly man came over smiling and very helpful said they have a horrible selection of hookahs and said to go across the street to the «smoke shop»!
I bought the rest of the stuff I needed and headed across the street.
I love this place! I feel very compforatble going there EVEN WITH MY MOM!

The name says it all: hemp. But it extends beyond the hippy wear sported by treehugging folk. Lotions, creams… yes. But the most interesting element of this store was the fact that they have tools and supplies for you to grow your own hemp. Talk about bringing it back to the grassroots. That stuff tends to be on the more expensive side, but in case you want to just have a gander at what it takes to make the stuff…

You gotta love Toronto for having a store like this right front and center on the busy Yonge corridor. When I think hemp, I think of 70s hippies, but this is definitely not your typical hippy store.
They sell a lot of really neat hemp products, such as clothes (actually pretty nice things) and hats, body lotions and creams, t-​shirts. I tried one of their body lotions, I’m not sure what it’s called, but it actually smelled surprisingly good.
The main floor, although undeniably cool, the basement is where all the action is. You can buy seeds and soil to grow your own, they supply all the materials you’ll need (yes including lights)… For $ 4000 you can buy an actual machine. It’s this big-​ass time capsule like machine, which has the plants on the side panels of the doors. It looks kinda scary but cool nonetheless.
