History
Established in 2014.
Tonality Records specializes in small-run independently released vinyl from artists and labels you wouldn’t generally see at your local record store.
We stock a variety of indie titles from all genres in runs as small as 20 – 30, with a large portion on incredible and intricate coloured vinyl featuring hand-made artwork, unusual vinyl innovations and all-around awesomeness.
We also carry a range of vintage radios, turntables, receivers, amplifiers, tuners and speakers from entry-level to high-end boutique.
Meet the Business Owner
Julian W.
Business Owner
Julian grew up in Toronto, surrounded by music of all kinds and studying classical piano since his childhood. In his early teens, he received his first record player and began collecting vintage jazz vinyl, which started a long and continuing love for analog sound. Julian started Tonality Records in late 2014 as a means of introducing rare and hard to find vinyl records of smaller and unknown musical artists to his beloved home city.
