The best word to describe this place… schizophrenic. I can’t figure out what it is. Is it a bar? A club? A restaurant? I wasn’t totally sure. There’s a huge bar area, and even some patio seating on College (a plus!) But they were serving dinner at traditional tables while the DJ was pumping 80s tunes (a minus?) and people were dancing just steps away.
So if you’re looking for a place that you can eat, grab pints, and dance the night away, I guess this is your place! There is certainly a TON of room inside in which to do any or all of those things. It’s just opened in the last little bit, so I imagine in time it will settle into its groove. (I predict that groove is gyrating U of T students.)
