History

Established in 1987.

The Dock Shoppe has been a fixture on the Toronto Harbour for almost 30 years.

The original Dock Shop was created By John Blair the Owner of Lackies Marina, the Sea Ray Boat dealer, to offer his boat customers unique and different products to outfit there boats. In 1987 Michael Pecar partnered with John to establish the new Dock Shoppe. Originally located at Pier 4 Harbourfront, we moved to the then new Hotel Admiral, built on the parking lot for Pier 4 in 1990. In 2000 we moved to 162 Queens Quay East a free standing 13 000 sq. ft. building. The building was sold in the fall of 2010 and re-located back to the Radisson Admiral Hotel. In the fall of 2012 due to the re-vitalization of Harbourfront and the closure of Queens Quay East The Dock Shoppe was forced to shut down. We are excited about our new location, backing on to the Peter St. Basin where we will have a dinghy dock for access by water, and most importantly FREE customer parking.
