Meet the Business Owner

David G.

Business Owner

David has been teaching for 25 years in Toronto and works with people of all ages, most musical styles and abilities. Having studied with several teachers through his teen years taking Piano, Voice and Guitar lessons, David had decided to embark on his formal music education which began in 1985 in Boston at Berklee College of Music .

After gaining his certificate from Berklee, he enrolled in the 3yr Jazz Program at Humber College in Toronto where he had the great privelage to study with a fabulous Guitarist and Teacher, the late Peter Harris. David won the prestigious award for guitar in his first year at Humber. David began teaching Guitar and Bass lessons full-​time in 1990 and was gigging in Duo/​Solo acts and in 5 piece bands. Today David is still teaching 40 students per week in private and group lesson settings and is busy working on a number of music and publishing projects and developing online teaching tools and content.
