In comparison to larger organizations that offer standardized courses, GPA takes a personalized approach to help you master the standardized test process. Meet the Manager

Rony G.

Manager

Rony Gao is one of the most sought-after experts of test preparation in Canada and beyond. He has personally trained over 10,000 individuals preparing for admission tests such as the GMAT, GRE, SAT, SSAT, ACT and TOEFL, paving their way into renowned academic institutions including Harvard University, University of Toronto Rotman School, Queen’s School of Business, HEC Paris, and many more.

Rony has an education background across three continents (Asia, North American and Europe) himself: As a teenager he survived and thrived through a secondary school program for gifted students in China, where also won awards in the National Physics and Mathematics Olympiads. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Master’s In International Business from Queen’s School of Business, and has studied at University of Texas in Austin (USA) and HEC Paris School of Management (France) through international exchange programs.

I hired Rony to work with my sons in preparation of the ACT exam. He exceeded my expectations and I was very impressed with him. He took an individualized approach with each son, and took the time to know each boy’s different learning style. He structured his tutoring to meet the boy’s needs which impressed me. (He tutored each son separately). I found his analysis of my sons’ learning style to be insightful and I knew he was very astute by the quality of his comments. As an aside, my sons are twins and Rony is also a twin.
Rony was very knowledgable about the ACT. I appreciated this — as there is a strategy to taking these tests. I believe he would be an excellent tutor for subjects also.
Rony was also very positive in his encounters with my sons which was motivating to them. His rapport with the boys was outstanding and I could see that he truly was invested in their success. Rony is a pleasant, likeable person and my boys actually looked forward to sessions with Rony. It’s so nice to see that tutoring can be a positive experience.
With Rony’s assistance, both boys improved their ACT scores. I believe their success was in part due to Rony’s input and their effort to work long hours with Rony.
I am most grateful to have met Rony. I would highly recommend him and I wished we had found him years earlier. He’s the real deal! Absolutely no negative comments come to mind.
