Steven Stern & Jonathan Stern Dentistry

Would highly recommend Dr Jonathan Stern as a general dentist. Was looking for a new dentist and found Dr. J. Stern. Young U of T graduate with a clean history.
Made me feel comfortable immediately. Nice clean office, pleasant staff. Was not kept waiting. He listened attentively to my previous experiences and concerns asked good questions had reasonable emphatic responses. Staff was pleasant.
Have modern equipment on site including a panoramic scan X-​ray machine, which in the past meant another appointment and location. Even cleaned and polished my teeth and did not defer to a hygienist.
Liked him a lot and I’m pretty sceptical of dentists.

I can’t recommend this dental practice enough. Dr. Stern was recommended to me by a friend and colleague after I had a bad experience with a previous dentist who overdiagnosed and tried to sell me on all sorts of stuff. I had the younger Dr. Stern, Jonathan, who was incredibly caring and patient and put me at ease instantly. He filled three cavities in about 40 minutes and was not at ALL judgemental about the fact that I had gone for a while without seeing a dentist because of a lack of insurance. Unlike at other dental practices, where you see the dentist for 5 minutes tops, the doctors do their own cleanings and hygiene at this practice. They say it allows them to spend more time with their patients! The office definitely has a no-​frills, mom-​and-​pop-​shop feel, but in a really good way. Both doctors are super professional, answer calls promptly (even on a weekend in my case!) and book you in very quickly — two days after I called. I don’t understand how they’re not busier. As of right now (Oct. 2015), they’re taking new patients. ¹⁰⁄₁₀. This will be my whole family’s dental provider from now on.

Dr Steven Stern is our go-​to person for all things dental. Never overcharges, recommends unnecessary treatments or keeps you waiting. Always on time and a very good dentist.

I am extremely pleased by the professionalism and care by all staff at this clinic. Amazing patient oriented care, every visit is smooth and the work done is always excellent quality.
