So Friday night was the first annual alumni lamb roast. I saw the FB photos of it smoking throughout the day but I never dreamed that it would be like this. I love lamb, and the flavour of good lamb with mint jelly is just to die for, but this was a whole different experience. The smoky taste of the lamb was unreal and the sides of curried broccoli and cauliflower, along with some flavoured rice and potatoes just made the meal. Wine was flowing, people were enjoying themselves, it was so great to catch up with everyone over such a fantastic spread and I can’t wait till next ‘First Friday in November’ to do it all again!
