History

Established in 1973.

Volunteer Toronto’s history stretches back to 1937 but the organization became an incorporated non-​profit in 1973. Since its beginning, VT has played a lively role in the civic life of Toronto. It went from being a community hub where people could find volunteer opportunities to being an online website search database in 1999.
