I’ve never experienced a time where I couldn’t find a seat here, which is great. I can never find a seat at the ‘bucks down the street because Starbucks. Plugs are also aplenty here. Drinks and food selection are decent, passable. Standard café fare.

This review is based on the customer service I received. I went in specifically to use the wifi. When I got there, after ordering, I noticed it wasn’t working. I told the two young woman at the counter, who, after(literally) just staring at me dumbfounded for a moment said they would go check it. They went into the staff room and got their cell phones and started playing on them before telling me that I was right, the wifi wasn’t working. I asked them if they could try resetting it, and they said they didn’t know how. Silence. They didn’t offer a solution, an apology, nothing. I offer up that you just unplug it, etc. They say they can’t and it’s too early to call their manager and ask him for advice. So I asked for a refund because the whole reason I went in was for wifi and it wasn’t working. Then they said«oh, we’ll call our manager.» Ok. It was about 8:30am, so it wasn’t that busy, but the two girls really took their time calling up the manager, and it wasn’t because they were serving customers. Finally, after about 30 – 40 minutes, and a few calls to the manager, they got it working. I understand that some things happen that are out of your control, but it really seemed as though these two couldn’t have cared less. They never once apologized, or offered any kind of solution until I started pushing for a refund. Even then, you could tell they were really just going through the motions. Slowly. Customer service is everything, and I felt completely neglected at this location.

One of the better Second Cups in the city, good place to study and great staff. Always have different brews available and a huge selection of food.

Love how 9⁄10 times there’s a table to sit at. It’s nice and spacious and the service is great! I love their gluten-free selection of snacks as well! Nice spot for a place to relax between classes!

As much as I hate to be labelled as a Starbucks-enthusiast, its the sloppy service at Second Cup that works against them and impedes them from competing with the likes of SB. I decided to forgo Starbucks in the spirit of Latte Tuesdays, where you can get any medium-sized latte for just $ 2.95. I had ordered nonfat lattes. The barista took forever to make the drinks. And when he called out the lattes, he simply said Latte. So, is this actually my nonfat latte and you’re just too lazy? Or am I going to have to hold you at gunpoint when I end up at Jenny Craig? To add insult to injury, he overfilled the foam so much that when I went to snap my lid on, some of the milk foam splashed on to me. So Second Cup is definitely not improperly named… they will never beat Starbucks and will always be second in line when I want a cup of joe.

Bright and spacious inside. I just picked a wrong drink– saw the raspberry tea chiller on their new promo and it sounded good. It was SO bad, it tasted creamy and that’s not what I was expecting. I got small size and drank 1⁄5 of it and threw it away. I tried my friend’s strawberry chiller and it was good though. Will try another drink next time.

Not as smokey as Tim Horton’s cup of joe. The people were nice.

People were nice. But I do not recommend it. Unfortunate coffee. I got a date bar.(?!). Music was bad bad — I’d give an example, but my memory has conveniently blacked that out. Pay internet. Blech. There’s a Starbucks down the street.
