My wife and I started going to Sage a few years ago after wandering through many other massage therapy places. 3 years later, we are still in love with Gail, Ronnie, Gaya, Jill and all the other therapists. Gail seems to have built her team as much for their personalities as for their skills as therapists. We always leave with our bodies relaxed and our minds feeling at home. While I go more for RMT, my wife has also regularly gone for acupuncture for her lower back pain and experienced dramatic — and frankly surprising relief. Sage is not a spa — This is a very cozy nook of calm, pleasure and relief in the city. That you will feel like you are amongst friends is just a bonus :).

My wife and I have been coming here for almost 4 years now.
Gale the owner is always incredibly friendly and a pleasure to chat with.
I typically go for massages once a month but have also tried their other services like Osteo.
All the therapists there are very warm, welcoming and know their stuff.
Miena is hands down the best massage therapist in the city. Her schedule is pretty packed, but she is absolutely worth it. She has helped me incredibly working out the excess knots and tension I accumulate from my fitness routine. As well she is just a joy to come in and talk with each time, I always look forward to my visits!

I booked a 1 pm appointment I was told their personal was running late it would be a few minutes then they told me he wouldn’t get there till 2pm 1hr later I decided to walk around and do some shopping they emailed me saying that they where all booked wtf

This has become my go-​to massage clinic. I now see Meina, and she is honestly amazing. I have chronic back issues, and this is the first therapist who has really made a big difference that has lasted longer than a day. Also, it is a very clean, cute place. They always offer you water, and are willing to adjust room temperatures.

I think this is going to be my always to go to place for massage and Oseotherapy. Wonderful staff and great service. And. I like that u can print their forms online which save time for your check in. Had some. issues with my body from the gym and a couple of sessions with Meina n Chantal made it all go away.
Must try specialy if you workout and have a desk job try Chantal for Oseo and Meina for massage.

I’ve been coming here for massages and osteopathy for about a year now and I really can’t recommend them enough.
I work in IT, so I spend a lot of time during at my desk. When I started seeing Miena, my back was a mess. But her massages have helped keep me loose and I can honestly say that I never experienced back pain anymore.
More recently, I’ve started seeing Rui (osteopathy). I was sceptical at first, but after only two sessions I already noticed a difference. He’s done a great job helping me to recover from an injury.

This place has been my favourite since last two years. Your good experience starts at the reception, where you are always welcomed with a warm smile. The receptionist/​owner always make sure you are comfortable by offering you tea and water. Massage therapist are fantastic. Before starting they spend few minutes to know the problem areas. I normally go for 90 mins massage because of my back problem. After you book an appointment you get a confirmation email that confirms the time, duration and date. You also get a reminder email if you book the appointment well in advance. As I am a regular I have tried many different therapists, and mostly all of them are great. Few of my favourites are Gaya, Sandra, Ronnie and Meena for deep tissue.

Great little clinic. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. My bf and I got 90 minute massages here, I had a man, he had a woman, both were very professional and kind. We both had been sleeping badly for a couple of weeks prior, and for a week after our visit we slept like rocks through the night, slowly back to normal by end of the month, so they really did some magic on us. Great prices and super flexible on hours, and RMT for people with work benefits. I’d definitely go back.

I had a massage today with Ronnie and it was amazing! I’ve had massages all over the world and this one ranks the top 2. His knowledge of the body and how he educated me on how to take care of myself after the session was golden. It doesn’t hurt that he was very nice and had a warm, calm manner about him. My experience was just brilliant and I can not wait to see him again. Being a NY’er I am very picky about my massages but guy knows his sh*t. In addition to him being a RMT, he also has a degree in Kinesiology.

I had never really had a great experience at other massage therapy/​acupuncture places I’ve been to prior to Sage.
I walked into Sage and was greeted by the friendly staff. The receptionist/​owner was entirely delightful, and introduced me to my acupuncturist right away. They offered me some freshly brewed tea while I filled out the paperwork, and showed me where I could hang my coat and bag. If you can, print and fill out the paperwork before you come in so you can save time.
I was there for some acupuncture, and Caroline gave me a great experience. It was very calming, relaxing, and she made me feel very comfortable. She’s a great conversationalist and has a great, didactic (not condescending) way of explaining her process. She never got tired of me asking questions about the process despite my consistent «why”-ing. She even told me that she can «read» someone’s energy levels by looking at their tongue! Cool!
It was a bit pricy, so I can’t go as often because my benefits would deplete faster than if I was going to a cheaper place, but it really doesn’t even matter because I can feel the effects of the treatment even now, nearly a month after I went.
Sage isn’t like most places that harass you and try to get you to rebook– and that’s part of the reason I’ll be back!

I have been traveling a few weeks for business. The stress of flying everywhere and deadlines and so on built up. Eventually, I was in pain at night, and a reasonable dose of Advil couldn’t solve it.
So I found Sage via Unilocal (thanks Unilocalers) and booked the appt. at Sage. I’m so glad.
Last night I was free of pain and super relaxed as well. The result was far beyond my expectation.

For the price at $ 93/​hour, you can’t beat it.
She really gave me a great massage, and while I can’t give 5 stars because it was located in a small little room that was all wooden (you could hear EVERYTHING and it wasn’t relaxing or quiet), the massage was done really well.
I will definitely go back for 60 minutes.

I know everyone else loved this place but, although my massage was really great, and I plan to return, I can’t in good conscience give it 5 stars. The reason being that when i booked my appointment I requested a 45 minute massage. Somehow this was not conveyed to my massage therapist, who gave me a 60 minute massage and charged accordingly.
It was a wonderful, deep, relaxing massage and I was very happy with it. However, I had not planned to pay for the 60 minutes, and because I had gotten 60 minutes, I didn’t feel like I could do anything but pay for it. I take off my watch for massages, and keep my eyes closed, so I had no idea how much time had passed. i also didn’t think I needed to inform the masseuse how long my appointment had been scheduled to last. Silly me! When the receptionist asked me on the phone how long I wanted my treatment, I assumed it was to WRITE IT DOWN!
Otherwise, Sage Health and Wellness Clinic is great, soothing, peaceful. Just don’t trust the appointment taker with your information.

The name scribbled on her business card is «Sandra O’Oriscoce», though I’m not so sure about the last name because the writing gets a little illegible here, but all you need to know is that Sandra can work some serious muscle magic here.
Sage is nestled conveniently in the heart of downtown, but on a peaceful side street that makes you forget that Yonge is but a few paces away. The staff are very friendly and it’s always nice to see co-​workers laughing and at-​ease with one another, no? Ahhhhh… I sigh… all is at one here. They kindly offer me water (which, ha, I’d already helped myself to upon entering — what? I was thirsty), and I am ushered into a nice and quiet, dimly lit room that feels warm and homey (as in Auntie May’s house, not Tupac’s).
Sandra does a great job of listening to what areas need particular attention and adjusting the pressure to what you prefer. I tend to like as deep tissue as I can handle — I’m talking cringe-​worthy — and she gets the job done, and yet I feel 100% relaxed in her care. At the end of my 1 hour session, she eases out of the room and tells me to take my time getting up. Let’s just say, I lay there for about 5 minutes contemplating if my napping there would be worth the embarrassment, and after some serious thought, thankfully decided otherwise.
Checking out, I was offered a piece of the bar of chocolate Sandra and her co-​worker had been sharing all afternoon. At one, see?
Now, what really sealed the deal was that Sandra personally called me 2 weeks later to follow-​up on how I was feeling and whether or not I had any concerns, but not once urging me to come in again. Needless to say, however, with her genuine care for the well-​being of her patients, how could I not book a second appointment?

Kevin Jana has magic hands. Typically I must restate my need for deep tissue work continually throughout a massage. He consulted with me first and nailed the pressure. My inner masochist was totally satisfied, and my back was loose for a week. Although it’s difficult to book with him because he is so popular, he’ll help schedule you like a regular post massage.
I should try out some of the other masseuses here, but am a bit spoiled!

While I am currently living in San Francisco, many of my friends live in Toronto, and I visit often.
During my last visit, after quitting an excessively difficult and stressful job in NYC, I desperately needed relief, and decided to visit Sage Clinic for a massage.
I was greeted by Kevin, the wonderfully charming owner, who is also an excellent massage therapist. The clinic itself was warm, comfortable, and I immediately felt at ease. After pouring myself a cup of tea, I was directed to one of the 3 massage rooms; the massage therapist, Sara, gave me a skilled, excellent hour long massage. Plus, she was incredibly nice, and sweet. That always helps.
The experience, from start to finish, was flawless. The prices are more than reasonable, and Sage Clinic offers other ‘wellness’ services, so that you can get all of your holistic healing needs in one place, without ever sacrificing quality.
I’ve returned each time I am in Toronto, and strongly suggest it as your go to destination for excellent massage therapy in the Toronto area, with the warmest, friendliest, and most authentic massage therapists around.
