Really nice shop with japanese items. Lots of hello kitty stuff. A little expensive but good choice.

Honestly, this is the cutest shop I’ve ever set foot in. When I walked in, I was greeted by the most friendly and simply adorable employees. All around you sits high quality japanese goods, neatly placed in easy-​to-​access counters and shelves. Not to mention this store is colorful and vibrant, with a bright and airy space not usual in Asian goods stores.
Everything is organized with meticulous detail, all equally spaced on the shelves. Rilakkuma, Pokemon, Hello Kitty, Domo, Totoro, and Mario plushies were all available in a huge variety. The two girls working there really helped me out, as it was easy to talk to them about various Korean/​Japanese topics. Along with plushies, they offer minimalistic stationary, wallets, pouches, toys, clips, and keychains, featuring your favorite character in the corner. Love going here every time I visit Toronto, if not for the gifts, then for the paper products next time!

A cute little gift shop

I walked in here, off the street, not knowing what to expect. There were giant plushies, and Hello Kitty items galore in the windows. There were also more Cat Buses, and Totoros than I knew what to do with.
There are also necklaces, and pencil cases, and all manner of other goods here too. But, what really won me over was the man behind the counter.
I walked in wearing a Blue Jays hat, and he immediately started talking to me about the game. Normally I am not a far of having to speak with employees (it always feel like a trap, or a scam) and at first I was stand offish. Then we started talking about 1992, and the ’93 series.
His charm won me over, and I could have stayed there all day — if it wasn’t for other customers.
I paid for my pencil case, but that wasn’t the end: with a great flourish, and a claim of magic, he produced and tied a bow around my purchase.
Honestly, I was charmed. It was fantastic. If I ever need any Japanese plushies, or toys, I can’t imagine why I’d go anywhere else.

So many Totoros! Lots of Ghibli & heaps of Japanese goodies :) Notebooks, stickers, Origami papers, even Magic star folding paper!
I was in heaven & luckily the girl working shared my love of Ghibli & was happy to chat about all the films :)
They add the cutest touch to your purchase by wrapping it in patterned cellophane bags & ribbons — a gift for yourself or ready wrapped for another!
I can’t recommend this store enough, a wonderful place to spend time.
I understand there is another branch in Koreatown too.
