She and her mother would make truffles each Christmas. This family tradition instilled a passion within Odile that has carried her through her 30-​year career in the food industry. Odile now specializes in the latest food industry trends and brings exceptional quality European chocolate products to the people of Toronto.

Amazing chocolate — this place with make you rethink the garbage chocolate we consume all too often. I went and bought some truffle assortments for my ballet instructors for Christmas and could not help myself. I tried:
1. Chocolate clementine peel
2. Gentleman truffle
3. Mexicana truffle
4. Kirsch truffle
5. Salted caramel
The only one that was less than stellar was the kirsch and it was still really good. Mexicana was definitely my favourite, along with the clementine peel and salted caramel.
Come in and grab some gifts for people — they won’t be disappointed!

Grâce à ma femme, j’ai découvert ce magnifique chocolatier dans un coin peu fréquenté de la ville. Voyez-​vous, les artères commerciales de Queen West et de Collège sont aujourd’hui hors de prix en envahis par les grosses boîtes. Alors les artisans, ceux qui ont la passion et la connaissance s’installent désormais dans des quartiers comme Dundas West, près de Bathurst. C’est le cas de Mme Odile qui a — sans conteste — le meilleur magasin de chocolats de ville. A découvrir et sans aucune modération !

A tiny lovely chocolate shop with a passionate chocolatier who makes the chocolate on the premesis. The wide array of chocolates are all fresh and while when I visited there was a lot of construction it was an oasis of calm.
While the chocolates may not be top notch, the freshly made and non-​bulk standard nature of them means I really recommend them.
The woman who runs the shop is passionate about her chocolate and really works hard to perfect her recipes. Go here if you want something different it is absolutely worth the trip.

As a kid and to this day Lavendar is one of my favourite scents. Why not Lavendar chocolate. New this year Odile has put out a Lavender Caramel, and and delicious house made Vanilla Cocoa hot beverage mix.
The Cardomom, Silver Leaf Truffle was awesome.
Formerly a mixed media sculpture artist and Jewelry designer. Odile is meticulous in her chocolate craft.
Fantastic designs on each indiviual morsel. Gorgeous gift boxes.
Treat the chocolate lover you know.

Came across this little chocolate shop while wandering the Do West Design festival. Owner Odile Chatelain is super-​friendly and my friend and I got to try samples of her champagne truffles. Divine! They are little works of art (some even have gold leaf) and you can find some unique and unusual combinations of flavours. I ended up buying a coupe of the truffle chiyo (sake and Japanese green tea) to take home. I know green tea and chocolate sounds like a weird mix, but they were absolutely delicious! At $ 5 for 2 truffles, not cheap, but a sweet treat and they make great gifts. Next time I want to try the ice wine one…
P. S. You can also get flavoured hot chocolate to go (there is no seating area).
