Walking from Trin Bellwoods to dinner? Feel like a shot on the way to warm you up? Like old Portuguese men who know how to party? Enter Now Acor. I think it’s actually New Acor, but I’m going to believe Unilocal*because as mentioned above, we popped in for a shot. A GD shot.
We only had the one drink (here), but they were cheap, and the men behind the bar were very, very friendly. They especially loved our little friend Nunes. She’s the cutest and can old man flirt in Portuguese, so she was an instant hit.
The food looked legit and I really look forward to returning and trying something homecooked.
The décor is ugly in the best possible way. Like being in your Great Aunt’s den.
