In the summer of ’09 I had the worst birthday present ever of surprise bad wisdom teeth. Long story short, I ended up in the hospital and advised that I should find a private surgeon to deal with it as the surgery required to remove all four (three and a half would be more accurate at that point) teeth would be «brutal». I was referred to Dr. Freilich by my boss and I couldn’t have possibly been happier with such an unpleasant situation.
The staff was very understanding and compassionate, especially when I was stumbling around after the procedure. The after care was exceptional — even when I thought I was getting an infection that turned out to just be dry socket mixed with the flu, I received great treatment without feeling like a hypochondriac.
And it was prompt! I was initially worried that going to a specialist would mean a 3 month wait or something similarly silly, but I had my teeth removed within a week of my first visit. A procedure like mine is always expensive no matter where you go, and I was fortunate enough to have my work insurance cover most of it.
