I got gel nails with rhinestones for $ 30. I think it was a trainee doing my nails because it took over 1.5 hours, however she took her time and was patient. She never said one word to me, but to be honest not a big deal to me. My nails came out okay, no complaints and the price is fair. Nothing over the top either.

I come to give this place a try as my Fd recommended. My Fd gave me the contact of the Nikki, so I decided to msg her before I come to see if she has time for me. She Didn’t reply at all. I was in the area, so I mind as well stop by and see if they were busy. Nope! No one was in the store (no customers). I did my manicure and pedicure treatment without colour or anything, it’s was $ 35. So then I asked if I want to do pedicure Shellac how much it would be? They told me $ 30 on top.
This is the most expensive and not giving a shit about customers services place.

This is probably the worst nail salon you can go to. If your appointment is 430, be prepared to wait 45 minutes. The wait I don’t mind, but the last straw for me is the fact that I waited 45 minutes and I stepped out to grab a drink and when I came back, Nikki took on a new customer who wasn’t even waiting after me. Whatttttt the fuckkkkkkkk. Are u fucking serious? So then I asked like how long do I need to wait? She’s like «a few minutes» which is honestly equivalent to 45 minutes cuz she JUST started with someone else.
This place also overcharges you and the prices change for everything all the time. If I get the same design twice. The price will vary from 85 $ to $ 120. Like what.

I came here upon rave reviews from my friend. Maybe because it was so hyped up, I didn’t think they were as amazing as they sounded. My friend also said they were always super busy but luckily when I came on a Friday morning, there were two available spots.
I told the lady I wanted the $ 30 gel package they had that came with the 20 rhinestones. It somehow ended up being $ 39, which is not horrible but just not what I had thought it would be. As far as the actual experience itself, it took way too long for what it was. I came here with someone else who was doing the same thing I was and yet, mine took twice as long. She also screwed up the thumbs because there were bubbles creating a rippling effect under the gel. She redid them but she still fucked up a thumb which I realized after. Also, when she was cutting the extensions shorter, she was so careless and they flew on me. I thought the fake tips were all going to fly in my shirt… Like wtf. But otherwise, it delivered. Except I’m sort of a perfectionist and she didn’t file my nails to a perfect coffin shape. The rhinestones were also off-​centre. Oh and 2 weeks after, one nail broke off and another is on the verge…
It was good, but it wasn’t great either. I’ll probably still come back if I want rhinestones or glitter gel but for a basic gel, I’ll stick to the nail salon near my house.

I’ve been to many nail salons in my life and I can say this is one of the worst.
Me and my sister went there just because we found it on instagram, and thought why not give it a try while we’re near the area. The pictures on instagram looked promising so we thought we could do any designs, and honestly the price didn’t matter to us because we just want to get pampered.
We got there on time for our appointment and got seated promptly. I showed a picture of what I wanted to my nail artist and she said it was do able, but once we started she said they can’t do the nail design in shellac (soft gel) but instead in hard gel (which is not the reason why I wanted to try this place, knowing that hard gel pretty much ruins your nails forever, from personal experience).
After that I knew this place was complete crap and the service was horrible. My sister’s nail artist threw her a bunch of nail stamps to choose, but as a nail artist giving professional advice would’ve sped up the process, and once my sister chose her design, her nail artist pretty much gave her the worst attitude ever (rolling her eyes even though she only waited for less than 5 mins)
All in all this is the worst place I’ve ever been. I got a manicure with hard gel and ended up with a design I don’t even want but it was the only thing they could do. They didn’t even clean up my cuticles, so now my nails just looks like it grew out already even though I’ve only had them done 2 days ago. I hate this place, and I’m not even sure the quality of their gel is even good.
I would not recommend this place at all. Don’t let their instagram photos fool you. People who’ve had good experience there are probably looking for cheap and quick manicures. And that is definitely not what I want to go through when I want to be pampered.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE unless you’re really on a budget.

An OK nail salon. I think the people here do a decent job, they have a large selection of colours, and the prices are good ($ 30 for a gel manicure with 20 rhinestones while most places in pmall are $ 30 just for a plain gel manicure), but I feel like I’ve had better experiences at other places. The staff here just aren’t super friendly, and I’ve been to plenty of other Asian nail salons where despite language issues, the staff at least make an attempt to be nice. I walked in without an appointment, and one girl working there just curtly asked me to take a seat in front of a lady who was available and painting her own nails. This lady was tasked with the job of removing my old gel polish, which she did with a sour face the entire time and only did her job part way before passing me off to another lady who had freed up. I will say that this girl who ultimately ended up doing my manicure was nicer and more approachable, but she was the only person who made me feel remotely comfortable in that place. She messed up on one of my nails and didn’t turn on the heat lamp properly, which caused my polish to not dry properly and run all over the place, but took care to fix it up properly, so props for that. The end result was smooth and bubble-​free, although she did glob on the topcoat to the point where it’s like noticeably thick and kind of makes my nails look fake… but at least it’s durable, no chips after 3 weeks. One other complaint — I don’t know what kind of polish or heat lamp they use, but when you stick your hand in to dry, the finger that was just painted will start to BURN with heat and pain, and I am not sure if this is supposed to be happening because it is really not comfortable. To be honest, I am not really sure if I would come back here, especially by myself. I think the people working here are just kind of rude to people who can’t speak Chinese, because I felt like my Mandarin-​speaking friend got slightly better treatment. If anything I would maybe come again with a friend, but even these free rhinestones wouldn’t entice me to come alone.

My friend usually come here to get her nails done. I thought it was a good place to have my wedding nails done… but I was wrong. We waited for over an hour and a half, and when the owner Nikki did my nails, she stopped and started doing someone else’s nails for about 20 minutes.
If you just want pretty nails with bad service and people who don’t even apologise for being rude, this is the place

No one is ever on time here when you make an appointment with them.
Owner Nikki shows up 40 mins late to last appointment.
Averaging 30mins late usually. So expect that if you come here.
The staff seem very fake. Esp. Fiona and Eva, they love to talk crap behind owner, Nikki, and complain about their customers right infront of them! The last time Fiona did that, she looked so dumb as she doesn’t realize some of the customers can speak their language and understand what she says. They literally drove their customers away, one at a time.
This place is a joke. They have bad hygiene. All the tools are dirty, the UV lights are stained badly. They never wash their hands or clean the brushes thoroughly.
They don’t respect each other or value their customers and their time. All my friends have left this place to go somewhere else, I was their last loyal customer of 3 years and even I am leaving.

Heard a lot of good reviews n decided to give it a try not worth the money. Very unprofessional. I did a medi n a pedi. The girl massage only one of my feet with the lotion. It’s a really simple glitter tip n it’s the thickest one I have ever had. disappointed.

If it weren’t for today, I would have easily given this salon a 4 star review (1 star missing for cleanliness which I will touch upon shortly). I have been to this salon twice before, both times the owner Nikki did my nails. She was kind, she did my nails perfectly, and she made sure I was completely satisfied! My nails only came up to a total of $ 35 each time (the $ 30 package + extensions) and I paid $ 40 each time so they could keep the additional 5 as tip.
Now this was during July/​August 2013. It’s currently March 2014 and they have moved to a different unit in the mall. The interior design is gorgeous, everything is in place. I was so excited because the only thing I never liked about the old location was how dirty it was. The LED hand things were ESPECIALLY dirty and I always hovered my hand over the bottom since it was so dirty. Much to my dismay, everything was brand new except the actual equipment used. I don’t care how pretty your unit is if this place is completely unsanitary! I will be adding photos of the digusting LED lamps (this one was not the worst too! I sat at a rather clean section).
I walked in and my appointment wasn’t with nikki for once and this slightly chubbier asian lady with eyelash extensions and dyed brown hair. Next to her was another asian lady with a bright pink, almost magenta dyed hair and lots of eye makeup, the other one went by the name fiona i think since thats what her client addressed her as and she had long, long hair with a pink streak in it.
My manicurist was SICK and was coughing EVERYWHERE. Once she coughed directly at me and of course she apologized but it was so unsanitary. She coughed on the tools, the nail brushes, my nails, and at her co-​workers who kept giving her side glances.
I ignored it since she seemed nice and then to my horror, she continued to drill off my old gel colour. At other salons they always did the aluminum foil way. I went for a regular french ($ 30 + extension = $ 35).
It was obvious my manicurist was trying very hard however i pointed out that on my right hand, all the tips were uneven, lopsided, and/​or had bubbles. The lady apologized and tried to fix it however the lady with bright pink hair was VERY rude and grabbed my other hand (which was completely ok, i was complaining about the right hand!) and rudely remarked ««Theres nothing wrong These are fine!» and gave me a look.
I continued on with my appointment and although I am chinese, I cannot speak chinese. I can however, understand it. I told them I couldn’t speak chinese so I guess they assumed I couldn’t understand it either.
I then complained about the bubbles in my nails and my manicurist tried to go fix it however the lady with the bright pink hair ONCE AGAIN intervened with a client right infront of her. She rudely remarked «I can’t see it, theres no bubbles!» and then Fiona leaned over and kindly explained to me that it was because my nails weren’t dried yet.
I continued to dry them and asked what kind of gel they used. She said «Bio gel». I then asked if they use bio-​sculpture gel or bio-​seaweed gel and she said «Bio sculpture». I could see Fiona using a bottle that said «bio seaweed gel» and if that wasn’t bad enough; they didn’t even use bio-​seaweed gel on me! They used one that said «Che colour uv gel» and another one in a pink bottle with a chinese letter and «colour uv gel». I know my difference between bio-​gel and cheap gel.
I didn’t say anything but then they started to talk badly about me, mainly the girl with bright pink hair. I ignored it, and kept drying my nails. I continued to pay but DID NOT tip since I had such a horrible experience and my nails looked lopsided, bubbly and bumpy.
when i left, there was also white paint at the bottom of my hand since my manicurist coughed so much during my manicure that she accidently painted the bottom of my fingers!
They gave me a dirty look so I left. The owner was not there that day. I would honestly not recommend my manicurist or going to this salon at all actually. Fiona did a great job on the client next to me, however the bright pink hair girl was beyond rude. I personally like nikki and although I doubt that I will ever come back here, I will make sure to ask for Nikki and tip her well since she is honestly the best!
TLDR: this place lied about the kind of gel they used, talked about me in chinese, coughed all over me and the equipment, wouldn’t fix any nails they messed up, left me with a lopsided french with bubbles and bumps.
I hope everyone avoids this salon and enjoy pictures of the DISGUSTING LED lamp and my horrible, bubbly manicure.

My girlfriends have been regular customers at Luv’ IN Nails for many years, always hear them rave about how great this place is. So, I’ve decided to check it out :) To my surprise, the price was very reasonable (around $ 30-​$ 45). They offer lots of colours & styles — you can add glitter, rhinestones, 3D add ons, and nail extensions too! The details and precision of nail work here were superb, and It only took 40 minutes (super fast!) :D But be sure to make an appointment!
You can seriously let you imagination run wild here lol. Lots of great ideas from their slideshows, photo albums, and maybe just take a peak at what others beside you are doing, or just let your nail artist decide for you!
I’m very happy with the results! Very talented nail artists. Highly recommend this place for you girly girls :) So far after 2 weeks, no nails were chipped, no gems were falling off… the quality of work is excellent. This nail salon definitely deserves to be recognized.

I murdered my nails at work, and after hearing raving reviews from my friend (she’s a regular here, and always has amazing nails) so I visited this «nail salon» on my day off.
To be honest… The first impression of the shop wasn’t great, it looked pretty messy and clustered. I showed the nail artist the design I wanted and she quoted $ 60-​$ 70 because one finger from each hand would be covered in gems. So I asked just glitter and got quoted around $ 50, and like I mentioned previously my nails were horrendously damaged at work… So I needed extensions as well.
I’m very happy with the end result as well as the process (I posted a photo). Fiona my nail artist was very meticulous and perfected the shape of each nail. She was very patient even when I was unsure about the length of my extensions and had her change it twice.
Now the reason I gave 4 stars is the price. The friend that always gets her nails done here, gets extravagant nails decked out in 3D art and gems, with the occasional extensions and it typically costs her around $ 50. But my nails costed $ 55 and design wise they were very simple in comparison.
I’ll most likely be coming back to get my nails done again, but maybe try out their new shop opening up in the same mall. Hoping that it’s a lot cleaner.

selection/​styles: lots of options! colors, glitters, ad ons! use your imagination.
location: it’s inside splendid china mall on the first floor, not too hard to find, there’s many nail salons in the mall tho, and parking could be hard to find, especially on weekends, there is hardly anyone in the mall, but the parking lot is always full?
cleanliness: honestly this place is isn’t really clean, if your sitting there getting your nails done and you look around, you could be grossed out. I don’t think they EVER cleaned the place. I don’t even know if they sensitize the equipments. They use the same files for everyone! The debris from filing the gell off, just flies everywhere and stays around.
quality: I heard Nikki is the owner/​the most skilled, I had someone else do my nails, and she actually did a really good job, nothing ever fell off, no bubbling and no pilling from the side etc. it was a really good job. Except my nails are really thin now after the gel is taken off. Also I don’t know what brand of gel they use, I’m used to having bio sculpture gel on my nails and it keeps my nails nice and healthy after many refills.
They get pretty busy, so it’s best to make an appointment.
I’m still undecided if I would come back again.
