Hands down the best cupcakes in Toronto! No box mixes, unique flavors and great texture.

I agree with the other reviewers, the frosting is way too sweet, even for American buttercream. They have a lot of flavors, but the last several batches we purchased were not very moist, even on a Saturday and Sunday. There are a lot of other bakeries that we will definitely stick to.

It was a small cute shop. Their cup cake was good and their flavours were unique. I thought the cup cake was a little bit too sweet. They have interesting flavours, so I may want to try another cup cake again.

My encounter with Life is Sweet was by accident. I was walking past the store and was offered a Butterscotch mini-cupcake sample. I’ve never encountered a Butterscotch cupcake before, so I was intrigued. I found the cupcake to be way too sweet for my liking, as well I bit into what I thought was either a Skor bit or some other piece of hard candy at the bottom unexpectedly and hurt my teeth. The cupcake was OK, but definitely not the best cupcake in Toronto. I’ve had better…

Haven’t had too much an experience with Life is Sweet, but I was able to snag a Butterscotch cupcake sample which seemed appealing. It was very cute as it was a mini and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, as the name of the store suggests, this cupcake was extremely sweet. I did not enjoy it too much because it was too sweet for my liking. It had butterscotch chocolate chips(I think?) at the bottom of the cupcake which added to the sweetness and although it’s a nice concept(where else can you find butterscotch cupcakes?), it is much too sweet for me!
