They brought the truck up to my work for an event. We were only allowed the soft serve but it was cool and creamy. Delicious on a hot summer afternoon.
The attendant was also very friendly and cracking jokes.
Can’t wait until they bring the truck back next year!

Who doesn’t remember the ice cream truck? The music is both nostalgic and haunting to me. I believe each truck has it’s own music but the ones that pass by my neighborhood start off with a kid going «HELLO!» followed by the pleasant ring-​a-​ling play music. Well helllooo to you too!
Whenever this happens, all I can think of is Eddie Murphy’s Delirious stand up rant about yelling «ICE CREAM! ICE CREAM!» and running like you’re being chased by an axe murderer… haha K, the axe murderer part was all me but I just wanted you to envision the intensity of the run/​chase.
The unique-​factor to these trucks and their soft-​serve are the option to SWIRL the vanilla and chocolate together and then dip it. «ebony and ivory… live together in perfect harmony!» That’s what you should sing while biting/​licking it. I always dip with chocolate but I believe there is an option to dip in strawberry too? How do you eat your soft serves that have been dipped?
So let this review be a reminder of your childhood. Let it bring up old memories of you begging your mom or pops for change to catch the truck and you ferociously chasing it down. Those were simpler times and happiness was attained much more easily because of that.
And if you’ve never experienced the ice cream truck, what are you waiting for?! Go stalk one down immediately before you lose that sense of innocent wonder!
