Yummy cappuccinos and very good desserts. I work close to this place so it is always nice to get a good cup of coffee before a long shift! Also located super close to the st. lawerence market!

If I ever need to pull into a place for some caffeine, wifi and a pick me up on this block, I will pop in here again. Lavazza is a sunny, clean café with lovely staff. I had a buddy staying at the King Eddie and I was looking for a place to wait for her while they renovate their lobby. I planned on just getting a tea, but quickly realized I was starving and went for the quiche, too. It was surprisingly flakey and delicious.

King Street East Lavazza: What a unfriendly young woman working on Sunday! I’ve had her twice now. Will stick to the competition from now on. Too bad, I like their coffee, but what an unpleasant experience!

Their desserts are pretty yummy :-) I’m addicted to their chocolate coconut macaroons. I also like their cappuccinos. Very slow service– like painfully slow… always lol. I would say stop in IF you have lots of time.

Bought their deal fro coffee and Muffin. Their coffee seems to be worst than the one I had at Loblaw’s downtown location which also brews Lavazza coffee. Their muffin is dense and tastes okay, not better or worst than Starbucks. Without a rewards program, I don’t see myself going here over Starbucks. Balzac’s and Aroma’s coffees seems better.

Long lines(somehow there is only one girl both for taking and making orders), but cappuccino is great. So far the best I’ve had in Toronto. Beverage prices are similar to Starbucks, but food is quite expensive.

This place is alright. Not good enough to get me to switch brands but the espresso isn’t terrible. It has a light body which I’m not crazy about and a bright citrusy flavour which again, I’m not sold on. I prefer smooth, caramely, slightly sweet espresso with a nice full body. This is kinda wimpy. The service is good and the atmosphere is really nice. The prices are a bit excessive though so I’m not even bothering to try the prepared food items.
