Almost 13yrs in Canada and this is my first time in this store. My review is based on the hot dishes they offer. Meatball is the bomb. It tasted pretty decent and it was cheap. You can actually get 2 skewers of meatballs(3pcs) for only $ 2.50. Size per meatball is 2 and a half swedish meatballs from ikea combined. Pretty good i’d say. Wish I had steamed rice though. And so I ended up taking it home and its still good. Oh yeeeea!

What can I say if you need smokes, candy, a coffee, doughnuts or even feel lucky and want to buy a lottery ticket, this is your place. They have a wide selection of snacks for that late night craving and also have my favourite thing about 7 – 11 slurpees! I can’t resist their slurpees and my favourite flavours are cream soda, coke and blue crush. They go great together alone or mixed as well. The prices are extremely cheap for any drink at 7 – 11 and in the summer time they offer a gigantic sized slurpee that is refillable! A great way to achieve that sugar rush you have been looking for. I always appreciate places open 24⁄7 and 7 – 11 is no exception. The employees are always very nice and always tell you the special deals available for their products! I will be coming back for more slurpees!

7 – 11 is a real corporation… The put this store into that vacant retail space so fast I did not even notice it was going in… Now they are having their«grand opening» event. Their corporate policy is to get noticed by putting out banners and signs on the sidewalk that they know are 100% in violation of the municipal sign bylaws. but they do it anyway …

It must seem strange that I’m excited about a new 7-Eleven. I know we’re supposed to want more local businesses around, and I of course do, but when your beloved ‘hood has been long overrun with a seemingly neverending stream of MONEYCA$H 2 U PAYDAYADVANCEMART$ in every last vacant retail space, you would probably welcome Buy N Large corporate headquarters with open arms. Management and staff seem very nice and invited us in this morning(Day 2!) to check out their goods. Plenty of good, hot coffee and not-stale donuts. Baked hash browns were DELISH and I see many more in my fat future. I’d further describe the inventory but I guess you’re a human person and you know what’s in a 7-Eleven. But also, Slurpees. In summation: I’ll report back after further visits. So far, I’m just happy to see another recognizable storefront near my apartment so visitors might believe they are in a legitimate neighbourhood and not accidentally stumbling onto a production of Little Shop of Horrors during the musical number«Skid Row(Downtown)».
