So many classes they offer which is amazing. Good area and also great people. I love the affordable gym and its very clean. Also, basketball court and swimming pools are very convenient. Great place for activities and classes for all ages!

Great pool always been a favorite of mine. Showers are a bit spraying all over the place but they get the job done. Not sparkling clean but we’ll kept. Been going to this pool since 2011.

THEPOOLDECKISHEATED, the pool itself is also very warm, quite large, and has a slide! Staff are very kind. Décor: friendly orange blobs painted on the white cinder block walls. Favourite time: Sunday nights from 6:30−9 they do a women and girls only swim. Very comfortable so long as you don’t mind swimming freestyle plaid/thread-the-needle laps around kids playing ring toss and old ladies with flutterboards. Caveat: I have *never* successfully swum straight laps here for more than about 10 minutes at a time, and once an old lady spat on the floor in the shower.

This is the best place to go and work out! Nicest staff, clean, affordable and all the machines and weights I need. I have been going there since they opened and can’t say enough about it. There aren’t a lot of classes but, that’s okay with me since I don’t really go for classes. The pool is apparently quite nice, I haven’t used it though. I almost didn’t put a review on here just because I like it so much and it’s not too busy. I won’t go anywhere else.

Gym is clean, spacious and a great value. I think it was re-done a couple of years ago. As long as it meets your needs, its a great value. At the City of Toronto prices, I’m considering using it as a gym to do certain things, and go elsewhere for classes. As long as you sign up for at least 3 months, I think its about $ 35 – 40 per month.(This review is for the gym only, but the Rec Centre is a huge complex with lots available). — Good amount of free weights and machines. Well organized. — Good instructional info posted on the wall as to how to do exercises — Decent selection of cardio equipment that runs well… although if you are planning to come after work I’d check out how the crowd is before committing. — Washrooms are reasonably clean although change area is small. — Access to certain times in pool. — Little/no classes. — You’re not inundated with ads everywhere. — No initiation, pay all at once(may be required). — Staff is not too involved — Don’t know if personal training is available. — Not sure if there is towel service(don’t think so).
