It’s My Party

Would have given them more stars had their service been more pleasant. We were looking at a variety of play swords — I had set one aside on the carpet and one of the staff runs up to put the sword back on the rack… I just find it so rude. She didn’t ask if we needed help– she felt it was more important to tidy up the one sword that was misplaced. The cashier didn’t smile… And the place was dead. What will they do when it gets busy? Good selection of items but they need to work on service.

This party store is open year round! I love it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Hallowe’en once was a favourite holiday for me, so I wish I had come in earlier. I came in looking for body latex paint, they had it, be it a really small selection. I use it for nail art.

Hands down the worst party store I have ever been to, I have purchased multiple items from this store purely out of convince on my way home, but the staff are unhelpful. The manager makes no effort to help order in items, has overcharged me twiced and then not apologized when I corrected her, despite giving them reoccurring business they never cease to amaze me by their overpriced items and terrible customer service– If they are reading this, I have purchased over 400 dollars worth of items in a pinch (as I own a dance studio) and could have been a loyal customer but now will drive 20 mintues to not have to deal with you.

Nice store with lots of options, 2 $ per balloon with lots of color options, I would go back here. The lady at the front helping me was nice too!

I don’t know. This place has come to my rescue a couple of times when I’ve been in a bad way for a coconut bra or neutral masks. Unlike a lot of similar party places I’ve been to in the burbs that are just overwhelming, sprawling, and disorganized, this location is compact and easy to navigate. I don’t find it is ridiculously overpriced for most items. And the staff are always very helpful. I am a fan.

I just called the Danforth Store to request them to get some balloons ready for me which I was going to pick-​up in the next 15 to 20 minutes. The lady informed me that they would do this when I arrived so I asked her again because I cannot wait. Last time I went in for balloons I waited for twenty minutes because of other customers that were ahead of me. I also had to park illegally because there were no spots available anywhere close by, so I was really sweating it when the woman ahead of me was asking the salesperson a million questions. As far as I’m concerned I’ll never go to this place again because they cannot accommodate such a simple request. If they’re so scared someone won’t show for the balloons, then why wouldn’t they take a credit card. I have balloons here that I’ll blow up myself and save almost $ 30.

Ashley was lovely to deal with over the phone as I placed my birthday balloon order. When I called back the next day to inform them that my friend would pick up the balloons, the woman who answered the phone was not very pleasant.
I ended up picking up the balloons myself and I was happy with what I got consider I didn’t see the colours while ordering.
The price was reasonable. $ 2 per balloon for the basic balloons that last up to 12 hours.

This place is great for Halloween costumes and accessories however, the owners and some of the staff are extremely rude. One time my husband and I went in to buy a toy star wars gun for our son. We tried out two and a staff member yelled «hey knock it off with the guns». I couldn’t believe she was yelling at two adults. We told her that our son had described a gun with a certain sound therefore were trying to figure out which one and she still told us not to touch them and continued to be very rude.
They also act as if they are extremely annoyed by every customer especially children which is odd behaviour given they sell children’s toys and costumes.
They follow you around the store and never say hi or even thank-​you when you are paying for something.
I have gone back several times thinking that this time there will be a new staff or a change in behaviour but each time I have encountered rudeness or indifference.
Do not let your child or teenager go in here alone or they will most likely will be stalked around the store and given dirty looks!

Great party store for all your party needs.
We went in for helium ballons and they had a good selection to choose from. Also took some time to peruse the store and they have absolutely everything you’d need to spice up your costume or party. This store is big so be sure to take your time and look around.

This store is staffed with possibly the rudest people ever. After there staff messed up I was told oh well I could deal with it and was hung up on! I always try to shop local but I would recommend this store to no one!

Wow! What an awesome store!
Finally had a reason (toddler) to visit the store for her upcoming birthday party. Was shocked at how reasonable and affordable EVERYTHING was. I bought a balloon tree/​centerpiece and several loot bag goodies.
I could have spent hours browsing the shop. Huge assortment of unique and whimsical items. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Staff were super friendly and helpful. I am a huge fan!

This is hands-​down one of the best party and holiday themed stores in the city. They feature such a wide assortment of décor and novelty items, and come Hallowe’en the store transforms into costume central! Truly one-​stop shopping for all your celebratory needs.

I don’t have much use for this place, but I wish I did. This place is jam packed with party supplies. Everything you could think of to decorate, serve food, and even make loot bags. There are some gag gifts here too, if you’re into that kind of thing.
At Halloween, this place is awesome. They go all out. I have trouble visiting due to the life-​sized statue of Freddy Kruger… its creepy as hell. Other than that, its awesome and has the best selection of costumes.

HUGE party store, filled with trinkets for every occasion. At Halloween they have one of the most extensive displays I’ve ever seen, and they carry everything from creepy prosthetic limbs to really authentic-​looking fake rats. There’s a wall of masks that may scare the life out of you (it did to me), and they’ve got tons of costume choices for kids and adults alike.
The store has a huge section devoted to the creating and filling of birthday loot bags… just walking through that aisle brought me back to the days of my childhood when you got a bag of candy handed to you on the way out of the party. How I long for those days…
Anyway this is a great store to go to if you’re planning a party — they’ve got great party ideas and all sorts of supplies to make it a hit.

Man, I’m really in the singing mood today! This store is great, and now is a good time to go with Halloween just around the corner. You can find costumes for the young and old alike. They have a lot of cool costumes. I stuck my head in the women’s costume section. Looking through their array of costume’s, one would think they were in a sex shop. The costumes ranged from the geeky to ultra sexy. I’m not sure who designed the costumes, but I can only guess they weren’t women.
Other then costumes they had some freaky Halloween accessories, like weird moving head statues with red eyes. The lady at the store was more than willing to press the button for us to see. Great fun store for the whole family to pick up some neat costumes!
