Ice A Cake

Normally I wouldn’t review an establishment introduced through Groupon but it was such a delight! We were mixed in with people who didn’t use the promotion so I figured we had the same experience — just at half the price.
My buddy and I signed up for the Fondant Fun workshop (a Wilton course) which is a great intro to all things fondant. It’s taught by Nimali Senaratne who shows you how to bloom flowers and coax animals out of something that resembles play-​doh. We were given a 6-​inch cake that was already iced, a lot of equipment, and then we went at it! She gave us a basic step by step and helpful tips & tricks as we worked. I had such an amazing time bringing out my creative side. I’d recommend their classes to anyone starting out or someone who simply doesn’t have the confidence when it comes to baking. They also take cake orders and sell Wilton products if you’re looking to buy.
