Worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. I went in last minute. Waited about 40 minutes, no problem. I met with Billy. Never have a met a person who works with the public be this rude and condescending. I wanted partial highlights and he felt I should have colour and highlights, I asked if I could just do the highlights. He said«think abut it, you need colour and highlights». At which point he told me he did not feel comfortable working with me and turned me away. I understand i went in late minute and the receptionists were quite nice and accommodating. But the tone this man had, his inability to work with me or even have a discussion was atrocious customer service . This is not a place I would step foot in again based on principal. I will not pay 100 $+ to be disrespected like this.

I wanted a cut and wash today and just casually saw this Salon. I love businesses that are willing to take your service & feel comfortable right away. A Japanese girl was just finishing up and I waited not even 4 minutes. I got exactly want I wanted and she really took her time too. The price is great too(not expensive, reasonable!) I’m definitely going back there for colour and cut !!

Ok this is not a fashionista’s haven… It is a cheap mall salon with little kids and dads getting hair cuts on Saturdays. It is not fancy and not the prettiest thing ever BUT there are two AMAZING hairdressers in there. TRACEY and BAHAR. I used to pay $ 120 for colour, about $ 100 for a cut and $ 50-$ 60 for a blow dry downtown. Yes they were beautiful, cool, hip salons with staff that had titles like artistic directors and stuff but honestly, I get as good colours with those two and BETTER longer lasting blow dries at a fraction of the cost. They ALWAYS take me and squeeze me in when I need something done and that is priceless… I don’t need the snobbery. I want great hair! Remember TRACEY and BAHAR.

I can’t say much about the hair stylist services there, but I will say the waxing services are great. Irina was very patient and asked me what kind of brow shape I wanted. It was painless and she did a fantastic job in shaping my brows. Area was well kept and clean too.

This is the kind of salon that attracts cheap dads, little kids, and old ladies. For some reason, it also attracted me. From the outside, En Vogue looks a bit weird. It’s at Dufferin Mall. It’s kind of ugly. There’s a messy handwritten note advertising hairstylists. However, it’s much nicer than it looks beyond the front desk. I was able to walk in and out in less than 15 minutes, no wait, no appointment, on a Saturday, The spa part is in the back of the salon, enclosed in glass doors. I met with Irina — who was so nice and so great. She also specializes in organic facials by the way. She made sure to ask me exactly what I want, advise me on the best shape for my face, follow up with tweezers, and make sure everything looked perfect before I left. She even played that lovely peaceful music. I definitely recommend her!
