Established in 2001.

A new build hotel in 2001, Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Airport was a stunning property. In 2012/2013, the hotel under went a renovation updating the public areas, add The Bistro, serving breakfast and dinner, offering healthy options with reasonable prices, and a new meeting room, The Aviation Room offering 1,200 sqft of space, with a fire place, windows and natural light.

I had a great stay here; close to airport but there is no interference of airport noise. My room was located on the top floor and slept comfortably.
Bistro food was great as with most Courtyard hotels; love the classic oatmeal breakfast. Lately, to mix it up I’ve been having the egg white frittata that is very good. Nice plus is that they serve Starbucks coffee (limited menu).

During the power outage resulting from the recent ice storm that hit our region, we stayed here for a night. It was everything we expected, clean comfortable room, excellent staff that was polite and responsive. There was a bit of noise due to the proximity to the airport, but that was to be expected.

Comfortable but noisy room. First the aircraft flying overhead — that was forgivable. However the noise from the air conditioner and especially the ice machine in the hallway was not acceptable. People strolled the halls talking in their cell phones instead of calling from their rooms.
Staff were very polite and the airport bus was punctual — 10 minute drive to the terminals running about every 30 minutes. A few restaurants within walking distance offering decent selection of casual food.

Checked in last night due to a canceled flight. The lobby of the hotel is really nice and is in line with most of the new and remodeled Courtyards I’ve been to. Unfortunately the rest of the hotel has not been remodeled yet. Furniture in the room is dated and chipped. The bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable. The carpet appears worn and dirty. The lamp on the desk has one power outlet, but there are no outlets on bedside tables. If you move the bedside table back you can reach and outlet behind the mattress. The wireless internet is a little flaky. Didn’t seem to want to stay connected. A little bit of aircraft noise early in the morning. Putting the air conditioner fan «on» instead of «auto» seemed to drown it out.

I’ve stayed here for business for two weeks back to back. The place is alright but not great. The housekeeping is fine, but my room smelled pretty bad. On the weekend, the place was OVERRUN with a kids’ hockey tournament and a cheerleading competition which made peace and quiet impossible.
The internet code is reset every few days which is pretty annoying when you’re trying to work from your room.
I’m back in the area and not staying here.

Well, it is noisy, plane noisy. It’s on a corridor where small planes take off… If you have a bit of time, i’d say go to the one on Creekbank.
There is a breakfast buffet, very standard. In the evening, there is no room service from the hotel, but they have a service from Mr Greek. This is handy but not good.
Honestly hesitated with 2 stars, but i mean, it works.
