Cory Torgerson

I had Ultherapy performed at Dr. Torgersons office on 09÷28÷15. This was a preventative treatment for me, I did not have sagging skin, marionette lines or lost volume. On the contrary, my facial contours and volume were very healthy and youthful. Again, I was just looking to keep that genetically blessed beauty and prevent ever having to have any work done years from now.
For the past 3 months I have been living a waking nightmare. My face has been robbed of all it’s healthy subcutaneous fat causing loose skin jowls, laugh lines, marionette lines, eyelid retraction, hallow temples and cheeks. I look 15 years older from a mere 3 months ago and when I bend forward my face collapses because the skin has nothing to adhere to. I can pull my extra skin off my face like a peel off mask. I have seen other facial plastic surgeons who are shocked at the amount of damage done and say I am now a candidate for a lower face lift and fat grafts. It’s truly a horror story and has negatively affected my life tremendously.
Dr. Torgersons response to all this? This is a natural progression of aging and maybe I can get some money from Merz (manufacturer of Ulthera). He was more concerned with protecting himself and his staff than even caring to address my damage and help me.
Ultherapy done improperly CAN cause the destruction of subcutaneous fat. Dr. Torgerson has no moral code, he does not care what happens to his patients. They have robbed me of my natural beauty and offer no explanation, assistance, guidance, or concern. This is not how a reputable Physician treats their patients, this is how a dishonest unethical business owner cons then dismisses his clients.
His office manager Nadine is very quick to be condescending and really only concerns herself with shifting blame. Not once has he or his office reached out in concern regarding my damage. Again, incredibly unprofessional and a testament as to how they handle their life altering mistakes.
Dr. Torgerson and his staff are Unethical, untrustworthy, uncaring and completely misleading. Dr. Torgerson has shown no indication in addressing his botch job and has no concern that his mistakes have caused serious damage to my face but this will not end with this review. He will be held accountable. I’m writing this review in hopes to spar someone else the heartache and trauma of going through such a horrific experience, dealing with the stress of losing their beauty in a mere 3 month and then being disregarded by Dr. Cory Torgerson.

I wanted to share my experience with Dr Torgerson.
A few months ago, through a family friend, I was referred to Dr. Torgerson. Our family friend stated that Dr. Torgerson «is one of the leading facial cosmetic surgeons in Canada» and «an expert surgeon». With such a strong statement, I thought I would take the chance and see for myself; plus, I had always wanted to get some work done, and I thought I would take the opportunity to see what that would entail.
On the day of my consult, I became impressed by the warm hospitable welcome I received from the secretaries at the front. They were really nice, courteous, and welcoming. They even called a day earlier to remind of my appointment, which I thought was a nice gesture. I was even impressed that Dr Torgerson came out himself and greeted me before taking me to the consultation room. Right from that moment I could tell that he really is an expert facial cosmetic surgeon. Very well dressed, very well spoken, extremely professional, understanding of my needs and a nice warm smile.
The same day, during the consult, Dr Torgerson offered to take some pictures to provide a realistic preview of what the resulting procedures would look like. After seeing the 3^rd imaging, hearing Dr Torgerson’s explanations, and recommendations, I was sold. Dr Torgerson’s direction was exactly what I was looking for. I ended up booking the surgeries that same day; these included: rhinoplasty, chin implant, otoplasty (bi-​lateral), blepharoplasty (upper-​bilateral), iPixel with Erbium (Face & Neck).
After booking the surgeries, the two secretaries at the front were really helpful in explaining preliminary medical check-​ups I had to do. The process was really simple, I was able to get all of these done at a walk-​in clinic on a saturday afternoon. Once the preliminary medical check-​ups were completed, I had my final consult with Dr. Torgerson and everything was ready for the final step.
After the surgery, I must say I was happy from the first day. Even though I was in some pain and discomfort I was existed for the results. I could tell that it was going to look amazing. Now, when I look in the mirror and see the results, I cant help but think how stunning I look. Dr Torgerson is extremely talented, he gave me exactly what I wanted, and with his exceptional team delivered the results.

love love LOVE Dr. Torgerson for many reasons but mainly because he is a HUGE part of me looking and feeling my best. In addition to treating the outside of my face, he also has supplements available to keep my skin looking young, fresh and vibrant. I appreciate that he actually LISTENS to my concerns and then makes suggestions. His staff is accommodating and very comfortable and genuine. I have had opportunities to go to other facilities and I just will NOT.
