I go to the location in the PATH, but for anyone interested, their products are just great! I walked in one day on a whim, and they offered to give me some samples to take home. After a couple of days of using them, I was so impressed that I went in and bought almost everything. It’s been about 5 months, and I’m still in love. I have the foaming cleanser, HydraExtreme(seriously, the BEST skincare product ever, and I’ve tried A LOT), mask, exfoliant bar and dry skin moisturizer. Everything I have is natural and high-quality. The purchase experience is super simple. You walk into any other skin care store, and you’ll find products for dry skin, aging skin, acne-prone skin, sensitive skin, etc. But they only carry a few products, and with the exception of a couple of moisturizers(I think), the products are supposed good for anyone. To be honest, I was a little put off by this at first — how can all the products be good for everyone? But they work. Finally, The service is awesome. The staff are always super helpful and they’re clearly knowledgeable. In NO way at all do they try to push products on you. I mention this because sometimes I’m scared to walk into a beauty store because I’m sure I won’t be able to walk out without being pressured to make a purchase. The staff at Consonant offer to help, answer any questions you have and give you samples of what you’re interested in — that’s it. And their skin always looks great, by the way. I highly, highly recommend going in and trying some samples of the products to see if they work as well for you as they did for me.

This is a one man store. Consonant doesn’t have all that many products yet. But I liked that there wasn’t product overwhelm when I walk in the store. The look of the store is very nice as well. Clean, neat, tidy, and modern. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the products. I got the matte sunscreen, hydra extreme & under eye cream. I’m liking the products so far. We’ll see how it goes! I may buy more of their stuff. Big plus that they are a canadian company & also just up the street from Eglinton station on the subway. Really easy to get to. Almost forgot to add that they also gave me some free samples & a free lip balm with my purchase. Free stuff is always nice. :-)
