Love this place! I work across the street and head over here every day to get a tea and a snack. They have a great selection of pastries and bagels and, as a tea drinker, I really appreciate their huge selection of self-serve teas. The service is always fantastic and quick and the prices are unbelievably low: a large tea and a bagel is only $ 3. Sure, the food and drink are nothing to write home about, but for your basic everyday office haunt, Coffee Exchange is the place to go.

After reading the reviews I decided to try this place on my walk in. All I can say is meh. The baked goods are from a commercial food provider. The coffee was ok, not overly impressive. Bottom line, I would not walk out of my way to grab a cup of coffee here, but if you are in the building it is there.

Definitely my favourite place to get coffee in the city! Offers a large selection of coffee, teas, and drinks that are always fresh and delicious. They have some pastries as well that are just on point! The owner and the staff are incredibly friendly and nice which makes me want to go back even more! Definitely a go-to for anyone in need of a caffeine and snack pick-up(especially for you university students!!!).

Don’t have one negative thing to say about this place. Seriously. The coffee is perfect. They have a good variety(if you are into flavoured coffee), it is clean, the staff are friendly and professional and more importantly: the coffee has not been sitting around. It is fresh, goes down very smoothly and never bitter or rancid. They have their baked goods UNDER A COVER which is always appealing. I have a real thing about baked goods being out in the open — and this place does not do that. Pleasant owner, good coffee experience. Not inexpensive but worth it. GOMAPSUMNIDAH!!!

When I decided to review this place I started searching for Coffee Express. It’s what it was called in my head being a quick place to grab coffee in a food court. My search came up dry considering it’s actually Coffee Exchange. I’m not sure I understand the exchange bit really-I doubt you can bring your double-double from Tim Hortons here to get a nicer coffee; and the only exchanging I do is my money for their coffee! However, that’s pretty much the worst thing I can say about this place. I keep forgetting how good this place is. The first time I went I was a bit confused by how it works if you just want brewed coffee. You go to the cash desk first and tell them the size you’re ordering, pay and they give you a cup. Then you saunter back to the large array of coffee jugs(ten!) and choose and pour yourself. They have a range of roasts and flavours which I’ve been having fun trying. If I’m feeling adventurous I might even mix flavours: e.g. swiss chocolate almond + coconut = Bounty/Almond Joy without the 200+ calories! I’m easily amused. Staff are nice and it’s really reasonable-a large(size of the new medium in Tim Hortons) is $ 1.75. They have a range of teas as well and some little cakes and snacks. Haven’t tried the cakes-they’re covered in cling film which I’m not a fan of… and I’ve also happened to remember that I was meant to start dieting 18 months ago every time I go here. Perhaps I should go more often? The rambling is basically to say-try it! Range of good coffees, not too spendy. Win win!

Coffees and teas galore. And some snacks. It’s like a breakfast bar almost. The best thing — opens early — at like 7 or 8. Cheap prices. Loveeee it!
