Brian Ross is a criminal defence lawyer. He is devoted to defending the civil liberties of those accused of all criminal offences and will work unwaveringly to preserve those rights. He has represented, and continues to represent, people charged with all types of criminal offences and has represented people charged with everything from Possession of Marijuana to Murder. Domestic Assaults, Sexual Assaults, Criminal Organization, Drugs & Weapons Offences, Frauds and Drinking and Driving Offences are just some of the area in which he regularly represents people at both the Ontario Court of Justice and at the Superior Court of Justice. No case is too big. No case is too small. No case is too tough. Mr. Ross is well known throughout the Greater Toronto Area and practices regularly in Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga (Peel Region), Whitby and Oshawa (Durham Region), and Newmarket and surrounding areas (York Region).
History
Established in 2010.
Before co-founding his current firm in 2010, Brian Ross was a partner at Pinkofskys, a leading law firm famous for its vigourous defence of its clients. After graduating from university with an Honours Degree in Psychology, and authoring several publications in this area, Mr. Ross attended Osgoode Law School. He immediately established himself there in the area of criminal law by becoming a Criminal Division Leader at the Community and Legal Aid Services Program. While at law school, he was also a member of the Innocence Project, a criminal program that investigates and represents persons claiming to be wrongfully convicted, and worked extensively on the brief in support of the Grant of Executive Clemency for Leonard Peltier.
