just as the 3 star rating says… this park is A-OK… Not so much the park, but what it leads to. The city ravine system is AMAZING… I dont know of many other cities that have such a fantastic forest running through. Ive watched massive salmon spawn there and enjoyed the tranquility, all while being in the heart of toronto… id go as far as to say this ravine system rivals central park as how amazing it is.

Who knew that smack in the middle of North York there is a park that makes you’ve feel like you’ve driven a few hours up north. It’s secluded south of Steeles between Bayview and Leslie, and is a great place to go on a short walk. It was especially nice with all the trees turning its colours. There is a paved path, but also a nice nature walk which brings you into the forest. It’s flat, so it’s an easy hike. There is a creek that flows through the middle of it and goes all the way to the Don River. The path takes to you to the water side, and we saw a couple salmon trying to hop itself to the next level! I like it because it’s not just forest. Sometimes we’d stumble upon a grassy area, and then wooded area, and then some brushy type areas. We did get lost a bit, and ended up at the back of the Seminary. There aren’t any route markers, so stay on the trail. I love when I find these hidden gems in the middle of the city!
