Bell Internet Service

My roommate and I started bell internet service since April 2015, got over $ 100+ charge every month every time even we are on the unlimited data plan. We both have travel plan in August so my roommate (bell account was under her name) called in and stopped the service. Then we switch to another company in September and happy with their services. However, we still receive bills from Bell for August and September! It turn out they didn’t cancel our service but SUSPEND our service in August (and charged us $ 24, which is fine) and continue our service in September so charge us full monthly fee of $ 90+. We were shocked to see the $ 130+ bill when we stopped using Bell Internet for 2 month. But most surprisingly is their customer service.
My roommate and I will never ever use Bell services in any kind. And I do not recommend Bell to anyone who wants a reasonable service charge.

Must be doing something wrong if they keep scoring so low.
Bell has made so many mistakes in the past, I now have zero trust in bells representatives. I have been assured I’m the past everything was resolved but always came back at me. All different issues I have had — billing, new bell service opened without me knowing and not being refunded for the bills; paid for 2 unlimited home Internet at the same address, being lied to about how much I will be paying for tv, additional charges on my mobile Internet that a representative didn’t even know how to explain, rude represtatives, troubles taking the bell box back. Charging credit card $ 1400 while they wouldn’t send me proper return boxes and of corse you cant brong the bell box into a store. Over the 4 years I have been with bell there was an issue with 30% of all the months.
Do yourself a favor if you live in the GTA go with wind mobile for phone.

Another pissed off ex Bell Customer for 12 years.
Called Bell 2 months prior to move to avoid extra billing charges after move date.
Customer Rep told me to call back a couple days before move as Bell can only charge up to disconnection date. HE LIED AND THIS IS NOT TRUE
I called back and cancelled my services a couple days before. And noticed on my credit card they billed me after my disconnect date. I called them back to inquire and was told I still had to pay until the end of my billing cycle as mandated by CRTC. I told her about the conversation I had with the Rep 2 months prior. She refused to check notes and confirm.
I HATE BELL WITH A PASSION.
We need to open up competition to our communication systems and ensure customers are valued and treated fairly. We are stuck bouncing back and forth between the big guys who don’t care. I use to be 100% BELL, Now I am 100% NOT BELL.

I am a Bell internet User from past 1 year.
Using bell sucks from top to bottom .The reasons are
1. Billing: for one month in student offer, I got $ 160 bill which is ridiculous.
2. The usage limit indicates false figures. It shows that I used 32GB in a day. OMG .Do u know how many things you can do with 32GB of data, how many movies i can download, how many songs i can download.
3. No.1 worst customer service award should be given, the reason is the call skips automatically sometimes without notice when you are speaking with an agent. What the heck is that.

If I could rate them a zero I would… Terrible Internet service I was paying $ 90ish a month for home phone and Internet and it wasn’t worth it. My Internet didn’t work properly for 7 months. Always slow always useless. After talking to about a million customer service reps that don’t speak English they finally sent a technician out. He said everything would work fine, it didn’t work at all and there was now a really loud buzzing on my home phone. So I cancelled it. Then when I went to cancel my home phone they told me I wasn’t authorized. Even though the account is in my name. Bell is beyond unprofessional and I will never be a customer of theirs again.

The issue with Bell Internet is that they use hardware that is unstable. I have just spoken to a technician who has advised that their Connection Hub Modem is erratic.
I have struggled for 2 years with Bell internet. Had modems replaced, had lines checked and the service is putrid. Tomorrow will go back to Rogers.

A: No one at customer service speaks English
B: Internet service has a ridiculously low cap on the GB
C: The longer you are a costumer the shittier the service.
I use Skype dail-​out for all my international calls through my Iphone and with «PERFECT» call quality for around $ 5 a month. When I was with BELL I kept on getting unwanted phone calls with offers telling me why paying $ 40 with bell is better then what i was paying $ 5 with Skype for.
There are many other choices for High speed internet and phone services these days that will save you $ 100s a year.
Soooo… don’t settle for Bell

In all my years of having an internet connection, I have never dealt with such an unprofessional helpline. I have no problem with farming out jobs to other countries. However it was clear that they had hired very unskilled people. This was confirmed on both occasions I had to call them. Having my call escalated to a supervisor just poured salt on the wounds.
I can appreciate a job like that is not easy dealing with people who can have little knowledge about such things. However, I ended up call Cisco helpline (my wireless router brand) and they were able to solve the internet connection and then it allowed the wireless router to connect.
Based on my call with Cisco, if they had offered internet service, I would canceled mine with Bell on the spot and went with them.
All these years of shoveling thousands of dollars to Bell has left me very bitter. I will be seeking out alternatives for all my Bell Services and not just the internet.
