Consistent and quality dry cleaning which is what I value most and is being delivered by Alfred. Tried local dry clean places near my condo and they use harsh chemicals that sometimes leave white streaks (ruined some silk item). If you have Alfred’s in your building I definitely recommend it. They pick up really quickly and surprisingly even late at night. So far so good.

I have the Alfred lockers in my condo building and it’s SO convenient. They’re quick to pick up your laundry and usually just a couple days to drop it off again. I’d highly recommend trying it!

Couldn’t be a more easy and affordable. I dropped my clothes off in the locker on my way to my car, two days later I get the clothes back as an email. I live in a condo on Queen West — Alfred is in my condo building.
I wear suits everyday so it’s super convenient. I even had a problem with my order once as they forgot one shirt — but the shirt was sent back the following day with an extra credit.

I tried it for the first time using the Church/​Wellesley locker, and I have to say it is quite convenient. I went to drop off a coat at midnight and I bumped into two friendly workers picking up clothes, so I was immediately impressed by their work hours. Alfred’s FAQ is a pleasure to read, response to inquiries is quick, and the quality of work is up to standards. I used someone’s code to register and got $ 10 off, which is also a plus.

Top notch service and convenience — if you work a lot and often can’t make it home in time to pick up your dry cleaning, laundry or repaired shoes, you need Alfred (preferably right in your condo lobby if possible). You can drop off your stuff at any time of the day or night, tap a few times on your mobile device, and you are set.
The company is also very responsive, which is great if you have extra requests or wish to modify anything after the fact. If you’ve been on the fence about trying Alfred out, don’t hesitate.

Alfred definitely has jumped on the bandwagon of the whole app fad. This very potentially could be the new über of taxis, the airbnb of realty and Unilocal of foodies.
The idea is pretty simple, you leave your laundry in your special «Alfred VIP bag» at the lockers located on the first floor of your condo. You text Alfred to pick it up, Alfred texts you when it is ready, and the fee is automatically charged to your credit card.
Convenience aside, pricing is definitely where Alfred falls short of its counterparts such as Über. The prices are «reasonable» for high-​end cleaning, but not cheap enough for the average joe to use it frequently and at a large scale. The service (as listed from their website) is a bit limited as well. Alfred mainly services only Bay St. Condos.

Just signed up to the Alfred service, a fantastic new service that allows you to do your dry cleaning and laundry on your terms. On my first run of a bunch of suits, I had the pleasure of meeting some of the folks behind the service. They are eager, customer oriented and experimenting with an otherwise tired industry. Nice to see the hustle!

This is a great service especially for people that can’t make it to a dry cleaner during business hours. The cost is very reasonable to have your dry-​cleaning picked up and returned right in your building. They pick up your order within one day and have it returned promptly. You don’t have to negotiate an earlier day like normal dry cleaners. They have also taken very good care of my items and do a better job than other dry cleaners I’ve used before. It’s a great service which I’ll definitely continue to use.

So please don’t take shoes here to be repaired. They may be a great service for dry cleaning (which I can’t vouche for), but I did take two pairs of boots to be repaired/​stretched and after two weeks of waiting they were barely stretched and not repaired where I needed them to be. After sending them off again to be fixed, I finally got them back. Repairs are done and stretching is okay — but this entire ordeal was a 3 week process. It definitely should not have taken 3 weeks.

I think this service is so technically innovative and well run. Everything operates like clockwork and I can trust that I will get my garment back in time. I recently had a winter coat cleaned and was very happy with the whole experience (especially conveniently picking it up from the locker when I got home after midnight!). I think the prices are reasonable, my vintage wool coat with fur trim only cost $ 25, and Alfred even offered a $ 15 first time discount

Great service. Perfect for someone like me who works odd hours. Being able to pick up my dry cleaning at 11:30pm is a dream.
