History

Established in 2008.

Keith Phillips built West Coast Aquatic Safaris from the ground up, as a Captain working in the Victoria, BC Whale Watching fleet and then moving up to the Tofino, BC Marine Wildlife Tourism fleet. From working inside the industry for many years Keith has been able to understand how to make a better product than what was already offered in the Tofino area. This has been noted both locally and internationally, with a level of Excellence being given to West Coast Aquatic Safaris from Trip Advisor.

West Coast Aquatic Safaris start with WASCO providing guests with the warmth and comfort of an inside cabin, but the versatility of 3 OUTSIDE viewing decks! WASCO, our 12 passenger vessel was also equipped with a RESTROOM aboard! These amenities as well as an understanding of customer service has given us ability to grow to the size it is today. This growth came with the construction of NANUQ a 36 passenger vessel. It has been designed to provide the same service, but on a larger scale!
