Le Parc Dining & Banquet

What a shit hole this place is. Grade 8 graduation held here with a charge per guest for dinner. After they walked around with 4 plates of frozen and defrosted, lightly heated preformed mini chicken nuggets that make Melba toast taste good, they places pitchers of stale cola on each table. (one pitcher only per table of 8).
So for $ 180 for for the 4 of us we attempted to swallow dried chicken with something else unrecognizable on the plate.
Broken taps in the washroom, toilets with out of order signs are not expected in a Richmond hill conference centre charging way too much money.
Find a better place and you won’t walk out with a paper napkin wiping your tears.

I recently attended a conference that took place here. While the conference room was pretty standard, the men’s bathroom could use a bit of work. One of the sink’s wasn’t working, a urinal was out of service and it was overall a bit dirty.

My company has had many of their events held here for years, and it’s no question as to why! The venue itself is impressive, but the fact that the walls can be moved and put to an out of sight out of mind state is very convenient for large group celebrations. The meals are always very delicious, properly cooked and presented very nicely on your plates. They have coat checks once you enter in the main foyers, bathrooms are always very clean and never short on supply’s. And once inside, you can have a bar set up in the outter room, before entering the main ballroom, as well as finger foods served to keep your guests occupied and content before the real party begins. Prices will vary depending on what type of set you will require. Just give them a call the staff and management are great a very helpful.

I went to Le Parc for a corporate function. The room was spacious and accommodated the near 400 of us for presentations and for lunch.
There were no issues regarding audio and video — large screens for the audience as well as a small one for the presenter.
The food was pretty decent for a buffet for 400 people. There was a selection of deviled eggs, rolls, mixed greens, cold cuts, cheeses, penne pasta in tomato sauce, chicken breasts and steamed vegetables.
All the cooked dishes were served hot. No real complaints — the chicken breast was a bit dry but it’s understandable considering the numbers.
The servers were pleasant, cleared our plates promptly and also replenished buffet selections before they were fully depleted!
The venue got the job done!

about 5 years ago we had our wedding, we had an amazing time, great service thanks to Mario one of the manager (who’s no longer there, very sad about it)
so we went back to celebrate the baptism of our baby girl, WHAT A MISTAKE!!!
we had to deal with the owner John who’s a real piece of work. the service was horrible, food was bad, dessert table was completely different that we had agreed on! when we went back to pay our bill and voice our disappointment the owner had the nerve to yell at us telling us «our 80 person bullshit party is nothing for him and we should keep our mouth shut» I can’t believe the tone of voice and the foul language he used, I’m just thankful my husband didn’t punched him. Needless to say WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE!!!

We recently held our wedding at Le Parc (Thornhill). Jon, the owner, was extremely accommodating and even allowed us to use the adjacent foyer for our ceremony (as opposed to using our own foyer and having to switch it into the cocktail space immediately after) at no extra charge. His staff was professional and everything ran smoothly. The food was good (mixed greens, butternut squash soup, beef & chicken entrée, sorbet), and we especially got a lot of compliments on the vegetarian option (stuffed bell peppers).

Good food, good atmosphere and enough parking spots. Couldn’t get any better!

My husband and I got married within 6 months. We were told by family and friend that we wouldn’t be able to find a hall in such short notice. We looked at about 5 halls; there were many available for the date we wanted. We found Le Parc was beautiful and it was the only place willing to work with us for pricing. We did get married in April, which is off season, that gave us a bit of a break. We worked with Jon who helped us on every detail. We weren’t that picky about the meal. We learned that it was cheaper to have a plated meal rather than a buffet. Jon helped us choose a meal that was within our budget while satisfying the needs of our guests. We had a salad, pasta, chicken AND beef with vegetables and the dessert was our wedding cake. At our tasting the meal was fantastic. The beef and chicken were done perfectly and was very moist. I found the pasta to be a bit bland and asked Jon to add more spices. Also I had lots of people who did not eat beef, the hall worked with us to accommodate those people. On our wedding day the food was just as good as it was at the tasting. They added more spice to the pasta and everything was fantastic. Also it was great that our bar was open during the meal. There was a miscommunication between us and the staff. We had not explicitly said that we would do pictures in the atrium after the wedding. The staff expected us to clear the room while they removed the chairs; however Jon had not told us that we had to leave the room while they did this. This lead to some tense moments between the photographer and the staff. But the staff handled this in a professional manner. The food and staff are great at Le Parc. I would recommend this hall for any event. The hall is beautiful and modern. The atrium has lots of light and greenery and was a beautiful place to get married in.

Went for a company holiday party. Friendly staff and good food. Banquet rooms were renovated but washrooms could use some work.
