Prepare to pay $ 8.99 for fancy juice and be run down by some beeyotch and her cart. Such is Vaughan. If you can get past the attitude and the prix — then come on in for some gourmet ready-to-eat meals and pretty pâtisseries! And the mad max Mexican guacamole. The guac is insanely spicy. I’m not joking, I felt a little heat come out my ears! I love it though :) Tip: $ 1 coupon on the backside of the lid that you can use at mad mexican’s restaurant on Jane st! Shoutout to the Bella at the bakery section and the new boy at salads! Both very nice ppl :)

I agree with the other review — people working here are not rude exactly, but they NEVER, I mean NEVER say thank you! The cashiers hand you the bill and say: here ya go… sometimes, if you’re lucky, they’ll say, Have a nice day… what happened to thanking your customers for buying from you instead of the competition? The owners should really train their workers, especially the cashiers, to always say Thank You! The store is more expensive than the average grocery store and quite small compared to Highland Farms down the street. Also, be careful when purchasing pastries or cakes, I have bought pastries 3 times and all 3 times, they were stale, not giving them another chance, they don’t deserve it

Have been shopping here for 25 years. Produce is excellent but as I used to spend all our allotted food budget here, now only 10 percent. I have always been disappointed in the surly customer service. No one smiles or says hello, except for two of the cashiers. Otherwise, I would probably stop going for good. There is lots of choice in the neighborhood at and way better prices too. The first rule of retailing is be nice to the customer. A recent example, they charged me $ 7.00 for two small ears of corn. When I went back the next day, not a word from the cashier. Then she reversed the charge but made sure to charge me the 59 cents each for the corn I had bought. Considering I had to traipse back to the store for the correction you’d think they would have not still charged me for the two 59 cent corns. That’s what Longos or Loblaws would do. I would have even been happy with sorry, our mistake, but nothing. Shame on you Concord. And you know your customers will spread the word

Have been going there for Groceries for years. Spend about $ 1000/month Recently went in the day after I did my main groceries and purchased what I thought was 10 items Went through the express check out(10 items or less) Forgot 2 items on the lower part of the cart. After I paid The clerk said you had 12 items! If you do this again we will charge you an extra fee! I was stunned to say the least So for this they have lost all my business. Good bye. Great thing is the consumer has choices :)))

For freshest produce and deli, meats, and cheese department this is the choice grocer in the area. It’s been here as long as I remember — think early 80s. It’s surviving despite the competition from No Frills and Walmart, close-by which is a testament to it’s loyal customers and the quality they offer. If I’m making anything Italian for lunch/dinner I shop here to buy my ingredients.

To tell you the truth, I have no desire to walk in Concord Food Centre! It just looks so dumpy from the outside… like one of those dirty, cheap Chinese Supermarket… But one day I saw my fellow Yoga buddies eating little cakes and desserts from here, I decided to give this place a try. I for sure is pleasantly surprised! Concord Food Centre is quite big, organized and clean. They also has a bakery that sell pastries and sweets, but not a lot of them are made in store, most are for Elite Sweets( ) or LaRocca( ). I ended up buying some mini cakes that is from Elite Sweets. Concord Food Centre’s might not have as much selections as those huge chain Supermarkets, but the fruits and vegetables are a lot fresher than Loblaws down the street. They accepts all credit cards includes AMEX.
