Wild Wing

To be honest, I do not know why I ever choose to go to wild wings. The food and the service is just horrid. I got the Margaritaville wings and honestly it was probably the biggest mistake of my life. The sauce was GREEN and the taste was just plain awful. I also tried the hometown hottie (I think?) and they weren’t good as well.
The beer and the yam fries were decent.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, the food is expensive and barely eatable. If you want decent wings you should just go to wings or any other pub that is in that vicinity.

I was going to give this place a better rating but my god could they ever be more sketchy! The wings here are definitely better than Wings, so that’s why I gave this place a second try. But holy crap, I don’t want to come here again! We came on a Wednesday’s, and the promo was «59c wings when you purchase a beverage» which two servers told us it will have to be other than water. My BF got Pepsi at $ 3 and I got a cup of tea $ 2. The server came back and told us the tea will be under «Pepsi» just because they don’t have a tea button for the receipt. I said ok. When the bill came it was 2 Pepsi at $ 6. $ 3+2 does not equal $ 6. So I asked the server and she said «oh yeah for the 59c wings the drink has to be $ 3 or more.» Thanks for the notice hunny. On top of that the promo says A beverage, so 1! But they wouldn’t allow my BF to just get the Pepsi and I get warm water. They could have been more clear on that. As well, when I ordered the tea, she could’ve told me it had to be $ 3 or more then, not until I’m done the drink and asked for the bill!!!
Then we asked for take out since we couldn’t finish the wings we ordered, which was only 3 btw, and no where in the restaurant says we can’t do take out! The server said «oh yeah we’re not suppose to let you have take out, but I’ll allow it this time.»
Through and through this place is just sketchy and as a customer I feel misinformed and cheated.

Early lunch today so the place was very quiet. Nice ambience, outstanding service — kind of a neat place with four different sports TVs up over the bar. Pretty conventional beer choices but they did have a Ricard’s Red. Merian and I shared Saddle Up, Whisky Girl, and Smokin’ Ranch wings. Probably should have tried some spicier ones but that will come next time — and there will be a next time.

We love this place. Always excellent wings, family friendly atmosphere, and the servers are all sweet girls who are always kind to my 2 year old daughter. For good wings and beer, this place is it. Oh and I love the daily specials!

was trying to place an order but was rushed off the phone by a waitress, decided to cancel my order all together and ordered boston pizza instead.

No idea why I keep coming back to this place. Maybe because their wings are better than Wings, but their service is horrible.
Ordered an aces high poutine, got a regular poutine instead. We were expecting to get our orders corrected, but the server tells us that the difference will come off of her paycheck. To be honest, I don’t care what kind of policy they had regarding wrong orders but as a customer, just get it right. Spoke with the manager on duty and she said that the server was new. So we let it go.
About a year or so later, we decided to order take out. It was a Sunday night so I expected it to be busy. Phoned in our order and they said «it will be ready in 20 mins.» We get there about 30 mins later, paid for my order and the server said they were just packing it up. So I wait at the front for about 10 mins and still nothing. I go up to the counter about 5 mins later and server apologizes and says it will be out soon. Go back to the front and wait another 15 mins and I finally get my order. 1 hour vs. the promised 20 mins.
On our way home, we get a phone call from the server saying they forgot to put gravy in our order. We were already outside our place and it takes about 20 mins just to go back. The server tells my girlfriend on the phone «Oh, uh can you tell the guy who picked up the food to come back because we forgot to put gravy…» Thanks for the phone call, but seriously?!
TL DR: The service here is not good. The food is decent, but the place is very unprofessional.

Whenever I write reviews, I don’t check other people’s review so my mind won’t be biased.
The place wasn’t that busy, so we were greeted and seated in time.
When we ordered our food, the wait time was around 10 ~ 13 minutes, which isn’t bad, I guess.
We ordered the Sweet Escape chicken wings for $ 12.99 for 9 pcs and comes with fries.
You have two options, either breaded or non-​breaded wings.
We’ve chosen the breaded wings, the server said most people go for the breaded.
The wings were fresh and hot and they were really yummy!
The garpar sauce was the bomb! Really good!
I think that’s the only thing that was good. We ordered also, their Crispy Chicken Burger.
The actual crispy chicken itself was not even that tasty. In fact, it was bland and tasted like you can buy from groceries. I think the ones from the grocery stores taste better!
Instead of the fries, I substituted for caesar salad and it says on their menu it’s only $ 0.99 for the substitute, but our server says it’s incorrect as it’s actually $ 1.99. :P
The caesar salad wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t anything special though, either.
It wasn’t the greatest experience, but it wasn’t a bad one either.
Will we come back at this place though? Not sure.
But the wings were really good and tasty!

Boneless chicken wings are poor quality chicken nuggets. If you want decent wings, drive to Bellingham & try Buffalo Wild Wings instead!

Truthfully I regret spending my money on this place. I went with two friends and we were one of the few people in there. We were seated for close to an hour before we even got our water and even then it’s served to you through the same hose the pop is — talk about cross contamination. There were two waitresses that were dressed scantily and had much more interest conversing with the male customers than us.
The wings were disgusting. The flavour I ordered was laden with green things that looked like slugs and the sauce was a brown that resembled dirt. The food is completely unappetizing. When I asked for a different flavour they told me all they could do was cook the new flavour over the one I had been given so the end result was a nasty combination of two things. I am still unsure why I didn’t just receive a new meal.
The deep fried pickles were slimy and squishy, ended up resembling slugs as well. Again, a nauseating appetizer. I will not be back and I do not recommend visiting this place.

Love all the flavors of wings and the choice of boneless. The pricing is not bad either. Let ’ s face it… go to a place called wild wings… better to stick with ordering wings. Appy hour is offered Mon to Thurs from 3 to 6… and it is 2 for 1.

Ok, to start off with this place is in Newton, which is sketchy to say the least. One of my more cynical friends asked if he needed to get extra insurance for his car before driving there, because, you know… Surrey. I try pretty hard not to be prejudiced about a place based on stereotypes, but I’ve lived in Surrey more than once, and it is exactly what you think it will be from the stories you’ve heard, minus (on this night at least) a car jacking or a visit from the police.
But, clearly I digress…
Wild Wing is a little slice of what you would expect a Wing’s joint owned by McDonalds to be like.
We arrived at about 6:30 — 7:00 PM and were originally one of only two tables. Several people at our table had already ordered, and we had been sitting down for at least 30 minutes before they got their food.
It took about the same amount of time (45 minutes or so) before we received what appeared to be chicken nuggets dusted in powder which tasted like MSG and «apple» seasoning salt. Apparently they had boneless wings on special, so that is what we got, though I don’t remember being asked.
We barely saw our server, although one girl who i did end up finding and asking for honey mustard sauce was pleasant and brought it quickly.
The place was clean and very bright, which was one of the only good things I really had to say about it.
Bottom line is cheap low-​quality food, low-​quality beer, and pretty low-​quality service. I would probably never go back.

Went here on a Saturday night and I was worried that it was going to be busy and we weren’t going to be seated right away. We got there and the place was semi dead. This was not a problem for me, at least we were going to be seated right away! The decorations however reminded me of a cowboy joint trying hard to be a sports bar.
We ordered the Daisy Dukes and La Chiquitas and both were really good, chicken were tasty and big! The chicken wings were smothered in more sauce than I would have liked, but it could be remedied by scraping some of the sauce off. I also thought they were more expensive compared to the Wings across the street at about $ 11 per pound.
What I loved most were their drink specials, 2.99 hiballs and 3.99 jäger bombs! Service was really good too, and I can’t understand the reviews saying that the servers were awful. We were seated right away and our server was super helpful!
We will come back for sure!

The wings were great, however, the servers seemed like they had no idea what they were doing.
*Greeted us with a scowl
*Brought coasters for half of the party
*Forgot to put in half the orders so some of had to wait forever to get our food
*Didn’t even bring wipes for our table, which ordered nothing but wings
*Mixed up what was on each bill
To top it off there were only two other parties. And no, they weren’t understaffed, otherwise I’d understand.

Daisy Duke winks all the way!!! The wings here are great. Approx 1.00 more for wings here than other places… but They are great. The place is decorated more like a sports bar than a restaurant, it’s cool.
Watched the Canucks beat Calgary here on the big screen, so all in all a great wing place.
Very worth trying!

Our first experience with Wild Wings was mixed. The décor and mood was set as western meets sports-​bar, with the waitress’ dressed in jean shorts and cowboy hats. There are plenty of screens for viewing a large selection of shows from sports to pets tv.
Overall the service was quick and our waitress was polite and patient with my husbands elderly father.
However, the issue arised when the drinks arrived, my husbands/​father in-​laws beer (s) were fine, low head and grand size glass. My «zombie» mixed drink however, consisted of straight shots of liquor and orange juice. That was it. The «bartender» they had serving could not have been fully certified, as well she barely looked legal to be serving these so called drinks.
My husband and I joked/​debated making her stick a straw in and taste her concoction, but the true reason came out when I could see the stand-​in «bartender» and our waitress giggling profusely as they watched my attempt to stomach their disgusting debauchery. I was forced to order a pepsi to literally chase my own drink down with.
Even though I was mortified at the first sip, I refused to even send it back at fear of my next choice being tampered with as well.
This left my stomach in knots before the appetizer arrived and had my entire outlook soured from the beginning.
The food itself was fantastic, and actually is what this review is floating on! The kitchen staff know there wings! The Gar-​Par Rings were amazing (although something I could recreate at home) and were nice to share over the table of 4. We ordered 40 wings for the table with 4 flavours and everyone was pleased with the saucy-​ness and flavour combos for the wings.
We will be returning for the food, but I will be sticking with a pepsi to drink.

Came here when they just opened and was not pleased with the menu or the service.
We ordered nachos for like $ 10 and the nachos were typical. A small cup of salsa and thats it, not even sour cream. You basicly eat ¼ of the chips with salsa and the rest with nothing.
The service was bad because they always passed us and they gave us our nachos at the same time as our meal. I have asked for the nachos to come first but it didnt.
We had wings and a burger there. The burger was bad. Dont order them at a wings place. The wings were okay but thats it.
All in all i would not come back here because of the service.

The best wings in surrey bar none. Allwas go on Sundays wings half price. Try the spicy jarpar yumm

Came here with a few friends to watch the UFC game. We were able to get seated right away despite that it was game night.
They have a variety of flavours for their wings that we couldn’t decide which one to get. Our server was awesome and honest with her recommendations. In the end, we ordered the honey garlic & gar par and dill pickle. The honey garlic & gar par was tasty. Dill pickle was okay, it tasted exactly like dill pickle chips. The wings were a good size. 2lbs of wings was enough for two people.
They also have some pretty good selection on their drinks menu.

Not a bad option if you want to watch a game, eat some wings and some beers with a few friends. Wings were OK. I’ve had better, I’ve had worse…
For younger kids, not so good (at least in my opinion). There are highchairs. Kids meal options are (to the best of my recollection) Chicken fingers, Fish Sticks, Deep fried macaroni & cheese bites, hot dog, or a hamburger.
We went with the burger. Which is just a burger patty on a bun. No condiments or toppings on this bad boy. If you like basic, this is the burger for you! They couldn’t steam or cook any vegetables when I asked (as a substitute for the basket of fries the burger comes with). Best they could do was raw carrots & celery (ie. standard pub fare chicken wing side/​garnish), which might be fine once the kidlet is a little older but not so good for a young toddler.
The rest of the food was alright. Once again, nothing to go out of my way for, but it wasn’t terrible either. I wouldn’t mind trying out a few more wing flavors with a couple of buddies as some point, but next time I’m with the family, I’ll go elsewhere.

My friend drove by this place one day while it was under construction and my friends and I decided to check it out on Saturday night. Service was really good as we got seated right away and our waitress took very good care of my table, drinks are average priced, lots of choices ($ 4.99 for shooters and $ 6-​$ 8 for cocktails) and biggest selection of wings I have ever seen in my life (they have chocolate wings too for you adventurous ones!). The only downside I found was that this place was way more expensive for wings than your average wings joint ($ 10/​$ 11 for a pound I believe). I should also mention that the wings taste way more fresher and are more meatier than the Wings down on 72^nd and King George, so its a give and take there I guess but other than that I will most likely come back here! :)
