I like this idea — bring in your used books you have read, choose some used books from the shelves here and you can use 50 per cent of your credit to buy your new picks. It is organized quite efficiently by categories such as cookbooks, travel, politics, fiction and bigger section such as fiction are alphabetized. No problem browsing here and I am sometimes surprised at some very recent titles that are available. I love the kitties, they are usually snoozing and seem quite content to be there. Staff are good, always have a pretty good idea of what is in stock if you are looking for something specific. Also, a nice collection of gems, stones, incense, budda statues, travel mugs, trinket boxes, some jewelry. I like this«recycled» bookstore.

A smaller used book store, but nonetheless full of goodies if you look. The prices are fair, using a coloured dot system to indicate prices. If you trade in books, you get credit. The credit then can be used to slash 50% of the coloured sticker price. You get no money for your trades, but it gets you tons of other great books. The biggest section they have is, of course, romance. Then a large wall of Fiction, a decent sized sci-fi and fantasy section, and a big children’s section fills the store. Recently a young adult fiction section has appeared, and while it is only two book shelves big, it is steadily growing. The same goes to paranormal romance, thanks to the boom in novels due to the twilight series. They have other sections, both non-fiction and fiction, but they are at most a few shelves big. They also sell metaphysical stuff, but I notice their stock is always changing. Go for the always changing book supply, and leave yourself time to search through. Avoid this place if you a very allergic to cats. There are two very lovable and cuddly(if a little chubby) cats living there.
