I frequent this store a lot as I live in the area now. I’ve had good and bad service. But the staff that work regularly are super friendly and helpful.

I am currently boycotting Metrotown mall so this is the Chapter’s I go to now, until I have stopped my self imposed exile. I really like this Chapter’s. It’s always clean and the staff are friendly. It’s also close to a PetSmart where one of my dog’s favourite people work. I kill two birds with one drive!
They don’t always have what I want in stock but it isn’t hard to order at a kiosk and pay for it at the front counter. I will be back as I am a book nerd!

First, I am a fan of Chapters. Second, I rate based on customer service when it comes to a big chain like this.
I was there last night to look for the latest Webster’s Collegiate edition and when I asked for some assistance the associate held her finger up to me and said, «I’m helping someone else right now.» No smile, no niceness — just cold and a bit mean.
I’ve had great experiences at so many other Chapters’ which is why I didn’t hesitate to ask for help, but unfortunately this was a bust in customer service.
My story does have a happy ending — I found it myself.

This Chapters is great. As always, the kids section is my favorite place in the bookstore, but I also like their home section.
This location is well organized and cleanly.

It’s just another Chapters but the recently completed kid’s section is great. My daughter, 4, loves it and it looks like all the other little people that go there do, too. Well organized and laid out, with some pretty cool toys and games for sale, it’s easy to spend an hour or two there, making buying a book for the kid a mini-event! Don’t know if they’re putting these in all Chapters but if you have kids who like to read, or be read to, it’s well worth the time to come to this one (or find one like this near you)
