Barks and Recreation offers a full service dog daycare, complete with ample indoor and outdoor play and rest areas for all ages and sizes of dogs. We offer one-​on-​one training, group classes, or train your pup during daycare! We also provide shuttle and taxi services for all pets, as well as grooming. Our cat boarding facility has a large play area for social cats, and 3 tiered condos for solo cats, and all cats get individual snuggle time with our staff!

History

Established in 2015.

Owner Niqi is a professional certified dog trainer and rescue advocate. For years she has specialized in aggression and behavior modification in both rescued pitbulls from illegal fighting rings, and feral street dogs abroad. Having been a pet owner whose pups went to daycare everyday, Niqi understands the importance of daycare for socializing and exercising our furry family members, but sees an opportunity to expand on training during daycare hours, keeping all dogs mentally and physically stimulated throughout the day in a safe environment full of fun and adventure.

Being the owner of 3 cats at one time, travelling and leaving her cats in good care was difficult. While most cat boarding facilities offer a small cage and not very much personal attention to our kitties, Barks and Recreation offers a complete opposite experience for your cats with ample play space, cozy caves to hide in, and lots of one on one time with our staff. Rest assured your cats are on vacation too!
