Al-​Iman Market is a small Mediterranean and Arabic grocer along the Surrey/​Whalley border. Family-​owned by friendly Egyptians, Al-​Iman sells a variety of fresh, frozen, and canned food, including hard-​to-​find Halal food. The staff have a strong command of the English language and were happy to help me with my questions.
They have homemade food and desserts, but it’s take-​out only. The pita bread is baked fresh daily and they source food from a variety of Middle Eastern food groups. They also sell a few durable goods such as coffee makers, tea sets, etc. Overall it’s a very neat place with a cool atmosphere.
