A&W

First time in this place last week as I don’t really stay in Surrey. This is the best customer service A&W I have been to.

They have the best service I have received in a fast food restaurant ever. The staff is welcoming and willing to please every need the client might have. To be completely frank, their costumer service is superior to the service I have received in many more expensive restaurants.

Never imagined the level of customer service they provide. From opening doors to taking order to serving you and then even taking your trays away. Its my favourite A&W location. Also, their signature root beer floats are bomb.

The service here is outstanding, not what I expected from an A&W or any fast food restaurant. They’re so helpful at this location, it is certainly a rare treat. Will visit again.

Had the Canadian breakfast,
2 piece brown bread uncut
1 hashbrown rectangle
2 eggs over easy cooked perfectly
2 sausage
2 bacon cooked perfectly
2 slices of tomato
(Put everything in between the 2 slices of toast and made a epic breakfast sandwich)
1 coffee in a coffee mug.

They workers are really friendly. They come around every few minutes and ask of you need anything and refill coffee. Restaurant is clean. Recommend.

Food is what you expect for fast food — however — the customer service is outstanding!!! I have never experienced anything like this at a fast food restaurant!’ Wow

The best service I have ever had anywhere. This includes 5 star restaurants. Manager conversed with all the diners, employees were smiling. An excellent example of how service should be given.
Things that could be better: faster food service. Perhaps that was due to the veggie burger my girlfriend ordered.
Conclusion: This is a great A&W. good food. Excellent service.

First of all, A&W, has breakfast! Yum! This location also has the best service I’ve ever experienced… Hands down! I wish that I was able to leave a bit fat tip. The servers literally RUN to grab the door for their customers and the food is brought right to your table. If you want to start your morning off right, head on over! I guarantee you’ll feel warm and fuzzy inside afterwards. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would come again!

This is one of the better locations. While I have not eaten inside of it, I do stop through drive thru often. Food is always ordered correct, warm and so far not once have I been served food that has been sitting there old. Staff are present and this location accepts TAP debit.

We just drove by this place to satisfy our hunger, and I’m amazed by how outstanding their customer service is in this location! They are just incredible with handling customers while keeping the restaurant clean. They open doors for you, they welcome and greet you as you enter, they bring your food directly to your table, and even offer free refills (which we were going to ask for anyway, but they took initiative and beat us to it). They are also very attentive in offering you water and asking how your food is.
After you finish your meal, they present you with a tray full of mints, toothpicks, wet wipes, etc. to choose from. As we were cleaning up after our table and returning our tray near the bins, they politely offered that they will handle the cleaning and said that we can just leave it to them.
They had this survey touchscreen where you rate their service in the restaurant, and we were just about to head towards it to add our two cents when they kindly thanked us and opened the exit door for us. Since our car was parked right in front, we figured to just thank them and leave.
I’m surprised that they don’t even ask for anything in return, and they don’t seem to assume that people will leave them ratings. I feel that they just truly enjoy what they’re doing and are genuinely kind people.
PS: A&W’s sweet potato fries are the bomb!

This A&W is FREAKING AMAZING. The level of service is beyond 5 Stars. Order from counter as usual. Food will served to your table. Asks how’s the food after a couple minutes. Takes tray and cleans up table for you. Brings you complimentary candies and other condiments as needed. Gets the door for you as you walk out. That’s the service I experienced and probably will never forget. Never had close to this level of service at a restaurant with no tips involved. Wonderful staff and management at this branch. BRAVO!

On average this A&W does a good job making you feel welcome. They are extremely polite and provide over the top service like offering mints and opening doors for guests.
My main annoyance is the retro car showings they do. On those days I can’t even get to the restaurant because the parking lot is jam packed with people.
Are they running a restaurant or a show room?

Legitimately the best service I have ever received in a restaurant and I’ve been to some high class places. Strangely enough the friendliest service has come from this A&W and a Carls Jr. in Las Vegas. Who would have guessed?
Food is good too. Keep it up.

The staff here is always friendly and smiling. They rush to greet guests at the door and they bring refills, napkins and condiments around at regular intervals. The owners and managers certainly must be doing many things right to keep people in such a good mood!
The food is good and the coffee is excellent.
They have secret seniors price discount upon request. On weekends I see family groups. Unlike some fast-​food restaurants there is no playground but kids appreciate the friendly staff.
Negatives are limited and crowded parking and the limitations of the A&W corporate menu. I would like to see some desert options. They serve a good vegie burger but there are no salads.
I go here when I need cheering up. It is by far the friendliest restaurant in Newton!
The owners of this location also own the location on 72^nd in Strawberry Hill. That location also gets excellent reviews so I must pay them a visit.

Don’t come here after 10pm if you want food quickly! It’s a gong show! And that’s with two cars in the drive-​thru and two customer inside. Almost ten minutes to get a spicy teen burger which was made without the spicy while car in the drive-​thru waited 8 minutes for onion rings
