Our focus has always been to deliver first rate coaching and instruction to first time jumpers and to provide them the best possible setting to develop into safe, enthusiastic and capable skydivers.

History

Established in 1989.

Eden North began in 1989 with 3 sets of student gear and a Cessna 182. We developed very quickly into a full service skydive centre with the ability to keep our first time jumpers and help train them into active instructors, coaches and world class competitors.

We now have over 40 student and novice parachute systems available to our clients and a 15 place Cessna Caravan to get them quickly to 12,500 feet above the ground.

We are the only skydive centre in Western Canada capable of supplying our students with parachute equipment from beginner to advanced levels without requiring them to purchase their own equipment before they are ready.

Eden North has developed more high level medal winning competitors than any other parachute centre in Western Canada. Our skydivers have won more medals in world competition than any parachute centre, nationwide.

We have the largest instructor cadre in Western Canada and 2^nd largest in the nation.

Meet the Business Owner

Lyal W.

Business Owner

Lyal Waddell has been jumping since 1979. In that time he has accumulated over 17,000 jumps. He has been teaching skydiving for over 30 years all around the world. Lyal is a 10 time National Champion, a Canadian and World Record Holder.

Lyal has been training advisor for the SkyHawks, Canada’s Elite Military Parachute Demonstration team since 1993. This Elite demonstration team has proven that with the proper training unbelievable things can be accomplished under a parachute.
